Emma’s POV- November 2014
Filip let out a shaky breath as him and I made our way over to my family.
“Dad” I said.
My dad looked at Filip and smiled.
“Nice shot”
Filip nodded slowly and my dad chuckled.
“No need to be nervous boy, you’re doing something right”
He pulled Filip into a hug and I looked at Andy who pursed his lips. Josh smacked his arm as my parents introduced themselved to Filip.
“I’m Isaac her dad, the other one that looks like me is Manuel her uncle”
Oh yea, my dad is a twin.
“It’s nice to finally meet you!”
My mom hugged him and he blushed a bit as she kissed both his cheeks. My mom said something making him blush even more as she held his face.
“You’re much more handsome in person! I’m Carla her mom”
He nodded and glanced at me. I gave him a smile and he turned to see Mirella, Max’s oldest sister in front of him
“You’re so tall! I’m Mirella”
She gave him a hug and Olivia looked up at him.
“Baby sis, good job! He’s so handsome and foreign!”
She gave him a hug and kissed his cheek.
“We finally meet in person!”
Filip laughed and nodded at Amelia who hugged him and kissed his cheek.
“I know you already, but give me a hug”
He smiled and hugged Angie. She rubbed his back lightly and pulled away after she kissed his cheek.
“Ignore the boys and their pouts”
I looked at my brothers and Josh stepped up.
“I’m Joshua”
Filip nodded and shook his hand. That’s when Josh smiled and Filip clenched his jaw.
“Treat her right yea?”
Filip nodded and Josh let go of his hand.
“I want to meet him! I’m Katia”
Filip nodded and she gave him a light hug.
“I’m Carina”
Filip smiled.
“You and my mom share the same name”
She smiled and shook his hand.
“Well then I like you more then”
He laughed and my uncle stepped in.
“I’m Manuel”
Filip shook his hand and my uncle smiled.
“Just treat her well, we all know you can do that”
Filip nodded and my aunt smiled big.
“I’m Camila, it’s so nice to finally meet the boy that Carla does not shut up about”
She gave him a hug and a light squeeze as she pulled away.
“Mason, I’m a family friend”
Olivia nodded as they shook hands.
“He’s Angie’s bestfriend”
Filip nodded and looked at me. He then looked at Amelia who frowned at me. Filip knew that Mason and Amelia were seeing each other.
“Andy” I said.
He frowned but made his way over.
“Filip, my little brother who is not so little” I said.
Olivia looked at Andy.
“Andrew”
He stuck his hand out and shook Filip’s hand. I felt a jab on my side and Filip groaned when Olivia shoved her bony elbow onto his side.
“Who’s that?”
Filip and I followed Olivia’s gaze to see Angie talking with Roman. She laughed and nodded at something he said. He gave her a hug and Olivia cleared her throat.
“That’s Roman” I said.
“Well Roman certainly looks like a greek god”
Max patted Filip’s shoulder.
“Well, I am here for the young men. Let’s go guys”
Andy and Josh nodded and Andy pulled me into a hug.
“Behave” I scolded him.
He pouted and I poked his side making him groan.
“Hey Emma, I’m heading over to Angie’s house. Are you guys going there now?”
“Yea, Angie said she was making dinner”
Filip smiled.
“There’s food?”
I nodded at Filip and he nodded.
“That’s great”
The girls laughed and Angie made her way over.
“Who’s that cutie?”
Angie ignored Olivia and Mirella gasped lightly. James recognized her because he smiled and made his way over.
“Ella”
“James, I didn’t know you played here”
Josh laughed and covered his mouth. I waved at my parents, aunt and uncle as they left with Max. Josh and Andy followed them.
“Yea, I got traded this summer”
She nodded slowly and smiled. James frowned a bit when he saw Mason. Mason just raised an eyebrow and acknowledged him.
“James”
James nodded.
“Mason”
Mason nodded and James turned to Mirella.
“It was nice seeing you, you certainly look great”
James laughed and thanked her.
“I would love to stay and chat but I have to facetime my girlfriend”
They nodded and with that he walked away.
“James is still a douche”
Angie shook her head and looked at Mason.
“Well, come on. The food is practically ready already. I’m starving and I know you guys are all as well”
Filip nodded and we walked to our cars. Amelia, Mirella and Olivia were going with us.
“So this Roman guy, are Angie and him something?”
“I wouldn’t know” I said.
“Oh god, she’s keeping secrets again”
Filip looked at me and I shook my head slightly.
“What I have to deal with” I told him making him smile.
“So Filip, how’d you guys meet?”
“The library”
Amelia smiled and leaned over a bit.
“How romantic, and how long have you guys been dating?”
“We met in March, but we’ve been together since July”
The three of them gasped.
“You sly girl! You didn’t tell us anything”
“Angie knows” I said.
“Of course she does”
Filip laughed a bit and I shook my head. Dinner was going to be interesting. If he thought Jackie was a handful, he was going to think my sisters and family was crazy.
