Halcon Mountain

In the town of Blackburn, locals whisper of the mysterious Halcon Mountain and the beasts that lurk within. It is said that those who enter the mountain in search of the creatures rarely return and the ones who manage to escape succumb to madness after their experience in those mountains.
As the legend grew so did the speculation of the beasts' origin. The majority of the townspeople believe a pack of feral wolves roam the land, waiting for their prey to foolishly seek them out. Some swear if you listen closely enough, especially during a full moon, you can hear their faint howling.
But my ancestors were the only people who knew the secrets of Halcon Mountain and the infamous beasts.
Those cursed mountains either kill a man or cause his insanity.
