Lily smiled as she took her seat next to Victoria, she glanced around the stadium the fans were putting on quite a show, she now understood why Cristiano loved playing at home so much, the buzz around the stadium was amazing. After months of declining Cristiano's offer of tickets to his games Lily had finally gave in and accepted but only because Victoria wanted to go to the matches so badly.

" Being here is amazing" Victoria gushed.

Lily just nodded her head as her eyes landed on Cristiano's box, he had offered to sit them in there but Lily had rejected his offer, she didn't really want to spend ninety minutes being glared at By Irina, ever since they had gotten back from Portugal, the Russian model had stepped up her campaign to get Lily fired. None of her scheming was working so far but Lily knew it was only a matter of when not if, things went Irina's way

" Your man has just stepped onto the pitch" Victoria gushed loudly, pointing her finger at Cristiano, he briefly looked up at his box and smiled before he began to warm up.

Lily sipped on her orange juice " He is not my man" she replied quietly.

" Not...Yet" Victoria smirked.

Lily just smiled as she watched Cristiano begin his warm ups, even though she didn't like football very much even she could admit he was good, she would never admit that to Cristiano though, his head was big enough as it is.

" How are things with Neymar?" Lily asked, hoping it would distract Victoria away from her Cristiano situation.

The smile on Victoria's face grew, she really was smitten " Things are great between us, I know its only been a couple of months but I think I might be moving to Barcelona" she replied.

The smile on Lily's froze while she was happy that Victoria seemed to be happy she couldn't help but feel that Victoria was rushing things " Don't you think its a bit early to be making that sort of decision?" she asked.

" When you know you know" Victoria smiled.

Lily leaned back in her chair " I don't want you to leave" she sighed " Who else can I bitch to about my family and Ronaldo?" she asked.

" Barcelona isn't the other side of the world Lily" Victoria laughed softly.

Lily stared down at the players getting ready to play " It may as well be" she retorted.

" We will still be apart of each others life but I have to do this" Victoria said. " Even if it goes badly I have at least try" she added, hoping Lily would understand.

Lily couldn't begrudge Victoria her happiness, she would just be sad that they wouldn't be in the same city anymore " I am going miss you" she mumbled.

" I will miss you more" Victoria smiled " With me gone maybe it will push you to do something about him" she added, nodding her head in the direction of Cristiano.

Lily just rolled here eyes " Nothing is going happen there, he and Irina have been all over each other the past week" she replied. " Portugal is a distant memory" she added.

" I don't think they will last" Victoria smiled.

Lily shrugged her shoulders a little as she turned her attention back to the game, the game had kicked off, she watched as Cristiano ran towards goal, just when she thought he was going to score, he passed it to Benzema who missed an open goal, which brought a loud groan from the crowd who began to whistle at their striker.

" Why did he pass?" Victoria asked, confused like everyone else.

Lily just laughed her eyes on Cristiano who was telling the crowd to calm down " Maybe he has gotten tired of scoring" she answered.

" Highly doubtful" Victoria smirked.

A huge roar from the crowd made Lily look down onto the pitch, Cristiano had been fouled on the edge of the box, she watched as he stood over the ball, his familiar pose he breathed in a couple of times before he kicked the ball straight at the wall.

" Its going be one of those nights" Victoria giggled.

Lily just sipped on her orange, she hoped not as she knew what Cristiano could be like when he had a bad game. It was never a pretty sight.

Lily clapped along with the crowd at the full time whistle, Madrid had won 2-1 thanks to goals from Cristiano and Bale. She pulled out her phone to send Cristiano a quick text message congratulating him on his goal, not expecting him to reply straight away she was about to put her phone back into her pocket when her phone vibrated in her hand.

Thanks did you enjoy the game?

Lily was about to reply back to the message when Cristiano decided to face time her instead, pressing the accept button, it took a couple of seconds for Cristiano to appear on her phone.

" So did you enjoy the game?" he asked, a broad smile on his face, his messy hair almost reaching his eyes.

Lily admired Cristiano for a couple of minutes, he looked good just after finishing a game, it wasn't fair " Yeah it was an interesting game" she replied, ignoring the knowing smile on Victoria's face.

" What about my goal?" Cristiano asked, as a few of the team congratulated Cristiano on his goal.

Lily smiled as she watched a few of the players wave at her, before Cristiano pushed them away " Your goal was very nice" she replied.

" You should come to my games more often" Cristiano smiled. " Next time you will be sitting in my box" he told her.

Lily glanced at Victoria who was itching to leave the stadium " Yeah Maybe" she finally replied, as she looked back at her phone.

" We are going out for dinner if you want to come" Cristiano said.

Lily ignored Victoria who was mouthing the word yes to her " Who is we?" she asked.

" The team, family and friends you and Victoria are more than welcome to come" Cristiano answered.

Victoria leaned over Lily " We will be there just tell us where " she answered for Lily.

Lily just rolled her eyes a little she had wanted to go home and relax with a nice book and glass of wine but it seemed that was not going to happen. Cristiano told them the restaurant and time before he was cut off by his teammates wanting to celebrate their win with him.

Lily sipped on her glass of wine as she watched Irina wrap her arm around Cristiano, they had been joined at the hip all night and while it shouldn't bother her at all, it did, she couldn't help but feel a little bit jealous, she would never admit it to anyone but she was.

" So Lily tells us a little about yourself"

Lily blushed a little as she sank a littler lower in her chair she hated being the center of attention and with the while team looking at her right now, she wanted the ground to swallow her up.

" There is nothing to tell, she is so boring" Irina smirked.

Lily just laughed a little " Well we can't all be fabulous like you" she replied with a sarcastic smile, earning a few chuckles from the team.

" How long have you been working for Cristiano?" Sergio asked.

Lily glanced at Cristiano, he was staring down at his phone, trying to ignore Irina who was almost sitting in his lap " Too long" she joked.

" Hey I am not that bad" Cristiano smirked, looking up from his phone, to meet Lily's gaze " I did take you back to Portugal" he added.

Lily just smiled back at Cristiano " Lucky me" she replied with a teasing smile.

Irina frowned as she watched Lily and Cristiano joke back and forth, she didn't like how close they had become lately and had tried to drive a wedge between them, but nothing seemed to stick.

" So Lily do you like football?" Luka asked.

Lily shook her head " Not really" she answered.

" But you like Cristiano right?" Sergio asked, a sly smile on his face.

Lily just laughed as she reached for her glass of wine " Like would be an overstatement" she joked.

" Hey I am here you know" Cristiano replied.

Irina glared at Lily annoyed that Cristiano was paying more attention to her " We should go home and do some celebrating of our own" she whispered into his ear.

Lily watched as the smirk on Cristiano's face grew, obviously liking whatever Irina was suggesting to him. she frowned a little as she looked away and saw Victoria had caught the look on her face.

" Not one word" she warned, as the waiter came back to the table, he stood beside Lily as he asked if anyone needed anything else, the look he gave Lily suggested he was in to her.

A few of the team ordered more drinks, the waiter pausing slightly as he looked at Lily she shook her head told him she was good, once he was gone Victoria started to tease her about the waiter.

" I think someone has a crush on you" Victoria said loudly.

Lily placed a hand over her face " Please don't start" she begged.

" Who are you talking about the waiter or Cristiano?" Sergio asked, winking at Lily.

Lily groaned a little as she sank lower into her chair, she looked over at Cristiano he seemed to be enjoying her discomfort a little too much.

" The waiter of course" Victoria smirked. " We all know Cristiano is taken" she added.

Irina stared at Victoria " Yes and he would never look at someone like Lily" she snapped angrily at Victoria. " Not when he has someone like me" she added harshly.

" There is nothing wrong with Lily" Victoria fired back.

Lily lowered her head her hand covering her face this was just so awkward " Please stop there is no need for this, we all know Cristiano loves you Irina" she mumbled " You have nothing to be worried about" she added.

" Oh sweetheart I would never be worried over you" Irina smiled coldly.

Victoria smiled coldly back at Irina " Well maybe you should be" she warned.

" What is that supposed to mean?" Irina asked.

Cristiano rolled his eyes as he attempted to distract Irina, he looked over at Lily she had sunk so low in her chair he could barely see her, he just wanted to put a stop to this before it got out of hand.

" You are a bright woman I am sure you can work it out yourself" Victoria smirked.

Lily shook her head as she leaned into Victoria " Please stop" she whispered.

" Are you trying to tell me Cristiano wants that?" Irina asked, waving her hand at Lily.

Victoria smiled a little " Why don't you ask your boyfriend" she flung back.

" Okay that is enough" Lily said loudly.

Irina looked at Lily " You can shut up" she spat, before she looked at Cristiano " Well is that girl right do you want Lily?" she asked.

Lily eyes drifted to Cristiano, he licked his lip nervously, as he met her gaze, she couldn't read him his face was completely blank before he turned back to Irina.

" Of course I don't want Lily, how could I want to be with her, when I have you" Cristiano said, regretting the words almost the instant they left his mouth.

Lily pushed her chair back, without saying a word she picked up her purse and left the table, feeling embarrassed and a little hurt, she always knew she had no chance with him which is why she refused to even deal with her feelings, knowing it would be pointless, but hearing the words come from his own mouth hurt her more than she would care to admit.

Ignoring the calls for her to come back to the table, Lily kept walking towards the door, she pushed the door open and walked through it, the cold air hitting her face, she moved towards the wall and leaned against it, knowing she would have to wait for Victoria, she wasn't going back into that place not after what had gone down

Lily heard the door behind her open, but she didn't bother turning round to see who it was, she just hoped it was Victoria so they could leave.

" Lily you should come back inside"

Hearing his voice, Lily moved to walk away but he reach out and stopped her from walking away " Please come back inside" Cristiano said gently.

Lily shook her head " I should go home and you should go back to your girlfriend" she replied coldly.

" If this is about what I said, I am sorry" Cristiano muttered.

Lily finally looked at Cristiano " What do you have to be saying sorry for?" she asked " You were just being truthful right?" she mumbled. " You should be inside with your girlfriend, not standing here trying to make me feel better" she muttered.

" I could have said it in a nicer way" Cristiano replied. " You didn't deserve that awful situation back there and I am sorry" he said, taking a step closer to Lily.

Lily just glared at Cristiano, shaking her head not wanting his pity " Just leave me alone" she yelled at him " Go back to your stuck up girlfriend and leave me the hell alone" she yelled again.

" Not until I know you are okay" Cristiano said, as he pulled Lily a little into the darkness so no one could see them.

Lily just laughed bitterly " I am not going to make you feel better so if you are here for that, you may as well head back into the restaurant" she muttered.

" I don't want you to make me feel better" Cristiano replied quietly.

Lily stared at Cristiano " Then what do you want Ronaldo?" she yelled at him.

" I want you to come back inside with me" Cristiano replied.

Lily shook her head furiously " Do you seriously expect me to go back in there after being humiliated by you and your girlfriend?" she asked.

" I am sorry you feel like that but I never set out to humiliate you" Cristiano sighed. " I know things have become blurred between us and I am trying to figure it all out I just need you to give me time" he said.

Lily bit on her lip as she stared at the wall in front of her just wanting to forget about the whole situation between them " You can have all the time in the world because I am done" she replied firmly, going around to walk past him, but Cristiano pulled her back a little.

" We aren't done" Cristiano said into her ear.

Lily just smiled bitterly " Go back to your girlfriend Ronaldo" she snapped at him, spotting Irina walking towards them " Speak of the devil and she shall appear" she muttered, taking a step back from Cristiano.

Irina glared at Lily before she turned to Cristiano with a massive smile on her face, she would do anything to keep him " Are you ready to go?" Irina asked " Because everyone is leaving" she added with another cold look at Lily " Your friend is looking for you" she spat at Lily.

" I better go and find her" Lily said, without another word to Cristiano she walked back into the restaurant just wanting to find Victoria and go home.
