Stronger

Things were never supposed to be this way. She deserved better than sitting on her floor in her apartment. She deserved better than spending her life in an unhappy relationship. She just wasn't sure where to start and that was the part that scared her the most. But leaving him scared her the most. She adored his family, But she didn't adore the way he treated her.

Getting up, she placed the cake on the counter next to the handwritten note that she had left beside it. Her car was packed and ready to go. She took one last look around the apartment they had shared together for many years before walking out and closing the door behind her.



I'm sorry that I had to do this the hard way but I was just so sick of being unhappy. I deserve more than you gave me. I hope you can find someone that will make you happier and treat better than you treated me. Don't bother trying to reach me, you won't get through.
