Different Worlds 15 (Matt's POV)
As I am sitting in my last class for the day, my professor Ms. Gail reminds "Remember to study for the upcoming midterms." She dismisses everyone. As soon as I hear it, I pack my stuff but before I could leave, I overhear most of the class talking about the party for the weekend. I scoff and think to myself "What is so special about going to a lame party?" And then, I hear Jazmin's name being talked about from one of her friends.
One of her friends who I don't know her name groan in frustration "Why can't Jazmin understand we're trying to help her?" I mutter underneath my breath "Well you're not and you're trying to change her into someone she ain't." One of her friends who I don't know and frankly don't want to know "What did you say?" I look at her retorting "Oh nothing...just the truth." The other one looks at me ignoring me and walks out the classroom with their friends.
I need to warn Jazmin before she decides she is going to the party.
