Chapter Four
The phone rang a few times until I heard a familiar voice pour from the earpiece.
“Hello?”
“Hey Gee!” I said.
“Hey,” he said
“Is the movie offer still up?”
“Depends, do you have to bring the baby?”
I frowned, “No….”
“Cool. Then I’ll tell Toro to pick you up too. He’ll pick you up first since you’re closer, around 4:30 ok?”
“Okay, cool. I’ll see you then dude,”
“Alright, see you.”
I hung up my phone and looked at the clock. It read 4:01. I had just enough time to run home and grab my money before Ray came over. I sped down the roads and popped a Black Flag CD into my player. I hummed along to the songs, and tapped my fingers on the steering wheel.
