I'm Not What You Expected.

I opened my eyes to see the desk next to my bed, I stood up confused, the last thing I remembered was that I was laying on the kitchen floor crying then falling asleep.

"Are you feeling better?"

I looked towards the door and saw Edward standing there.

"Why did you come?" I asked him

"Your mind was pretty open."

I fell back onto my pillow and sighed.

"I wish I could do something to help you."

"You've done enough."

"Lene you're hurting yourself by being like this."

"I know." I mumbled

"What do you say if we go to my house and watch movies all day?"

"I don't want to." I said turning around and placing my face against my pillow.

"We can't always have everything we want in life Lene."

Easy for you to say

Edward sighed then I felt as he sat at the edge of my bed.

"Lene can you please come?"

No, just leave me alone.

"I don't think that's a good idea."

And why not?

He stayed quiet for a moment. I sat up and turned to look at him.

"Did Alice have another vision."

"Just a picture but nothing really."

"What is it about?"

"Something about the woods, I really don't know."

"So you think it has something to do with me?"

"I don't want to take the chances that it does."

"So that's why you want me to go to your house?"

"Not entirely but part of it."

"and here I thought you cared about me."

"I do!"

"Really? Hard to see that."

"I don't want anything to happen to you! And I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

"Fine do you want me to come over to your house?"

"Yeah I would like it if you did."

"Can I get some more sleep and then I can go?"

"You promise to go?"

"Yes if not you can come hunt me down and drag."

"Do I have your permission for that?"

"Yes, happy?"

"yes, I'll see you later then."

"yup."

Edward smiled and patted my head before walking away.

"I'm not a dog." i mumbled after him

I fell back onto my bed and closed my eyes trying to go back to sleep, but I could see that wasn't happening. I laid awake for a couple of minutes before deciding to take a shower and get ready for the day ahead of me.

I ignored him and went to the beach in La Push, I knew Jacob would be there, as soon as I got there I spotted him on top of the cliff, I closed my eyes for a second then started to make my way towards him.
