Sequel: Forever

You And Me Together

Texting at night

I looked at my alarm clock. It was 12:24am. I couldn't believe that I slept last night. Yesterday when Gavin came, I was too freaked out to sleep. I finally did fall asleep, then woke up rather early. The first thing I did, was go over to visit Joe. And now, it was late, and I couldn't go over to see him. I still couldn't sleep. I heard my phone vibrate, so I picked it up. I flipped it open, now grinning.

I can't sleep, how about you?

I re-read the message from Joe, grinning.

I wish. Hold on, can I come over?

I waited for a few minutes, then flipped my phone open again.

Yeah, I'll wait by the door. <33

I grinned, and put my phone in my pocket. I opened my window quietly, and set one leg out. I
heard footsteps walking down the hall, so I swung my other foot out quickly. I grabbed ahold
of the wooden ladder my mom used to help her plants grow. I slowly made my way down.
Okay, I was out of the house.

"Aly!" Joe shouted in a hushed tone. I giggled, and ran across the street. He pulled me into
a hug. He pulled away, and led me into the house. He closed the door quietly.

"Just be quiet." Joe whispered. I nodded, quietly walking up the stairs behind him. We
turned the corner, and walked into his room. He closed the door gently, and not all the way.

"Still can't sleep, because of Gavin?" Joe asked.I nodded, sitting on his bed. He smirked,
pushing me over. I giggled as I fell onto my back. He lay onto of me.

"Poor you." He whispered, giving me a kiss. I blushed.

"Yeah, poor me." I agreed. Joe got off me, and laid beside me. I scooted closer to him, my eyes growing heavy. He sat up a little, pulling his shirt off. I could feel my cheeks turn red. He turned to me, then smiled.

"Relax, I'm not going to do anything." He said, pulling the blankets over the two of us. Joe
and I would do this quiet often. Denise and Paul knew nothing went on. My parents on the
other hand... They didn't know anything about it.

"Goodnight Joe." I sighed. He smiled, his chocolate brown eyes focused on my green eyes.

"Goodnight Aly." He said. I smiled, kissing his cheek. He wrapped his arms around my
waist, pulling me closer to him.

Bang bang bang!

I opened my eyes slowly, sitting up a little. Joe mimiced my actions.

'What's going on?" He asked. I shrugged, sitting up all the way. I threw the blankets off me,
and walked out of Joe's room. I leaned against the door frame.

"Who could that be?" Denise asked, walking past me. She waved to me a little, then walked
down the stairs. Joe walked up behind me, and wrapped his arms around me again. I
smiled. We followed Denise down the stairs. She opened the door, to see my mother and
father there.

"Crap." I whispered. They were both frowning.

"Alyssa! Get back into our house NOW!" My father shouted. He sent chills throughout my
body. Not the good kind, the bad kind. I turned back to Joe.

"Now!" My mother repeated. I jumped a little, pulling away from Joe.

"Bye Joe. Bye Denise." I said, following my parents outside. I felt horrible. My mom grabbed
my arm, and pulled me across the street, and into the house. She pretty much tossed me to
a chair, so I sat down.

"Alyssa! Gavin came into our room, and told us you weren't home." She said. Why Gavin
was in my room, was almost beyond me. I kinda knew why, but knew my parents wouldn't
believe me.

"Mom! I can't sleep anymore. Having Gavin in the house just freaks me out!" I whined. My
father stepped closer to me.

"So you go over to your boyfriends, and sleep with him behind our backs?" He asked. I felt
my eyes sting.

"No! I wasn't doing anything with him. I swear!" I shouted. My mom rolled her eyes.

"Alyssa, you promised to treat Gavin like part of the family." She said. I felt tears rolling down
my face.

"I know. But that was before I met him!" I said, turning away. I heard a pair of footsteps
running down the stairs.

"What's going on?" Gavin asked, pretending to wipe the sleep away from his eyes. I glared.

"Nothing Gavin, go back to sleep." My father said.

"Besides dad! If it wasn't for Joe, you'd be dead! You owe him!" I shouted, standing up.
Gavin walked over to us slowly.

"And you! If it wasn't for you, everything would be fine!" I shouted even louder to Gavin. He
looked down.

"Alyssa! Don't talk to your father, or Gavin like that!" My mom shouted. I heard another pair of
footsteps.

"What's going on?" Arianna whined. I shut my eyes.

"Alyssa, what are we going to do with you?" My father asked, a little quieter. I frowned.

"Nothing! Because no matter what, it won't work. You try to change me, and it just makes me
worse! Just leave me alone!" I shouted, storming past everyone. Gavin grabbed my arm. It
sent chills up my spine. I whiped around.

"Let me go!" I said. He tightened his grip. I screamed.

"Let go! You're hurting me!" I said, more tears falling down my face.

"Gavin, let her go!" Arianna shouted. It was 4 in the morning, and everyone was shouting.
Gavin released my arm.

"Alyssa, I forbid you from seeing Joe again. And I mean it." My father said. I looked at him,
glaring.

"No! Just because you're my father, doesn't mean you can control me. I'm in love with him,
and I'm going to be with him if I want to!" I said, hugging my body.

"Dad! He saved my life. He saved your life. Does that mean nothing to you?" I asked,
softening my tone. He paused, then shook his head.

"He did it out of the goodness of his heart, not because he had to." He said. I screamed as
loud as I could.

"Why can't you all just accept that I need to live my life! You all get to, so why not me?" I
yelled. I heard some more footsteps, then the door swing open. I spun around, now
grinning.

"What're you guys doing to her?" Joe asked, running over to me. He pulled me into a
protective hug, causing me to smile more.

"Joe, you need to leave! Alyssa's only gotten worse since you two have started dating." My
mom said. He looked at her, then me. He kissed my forehead.

"I can't. I'll die without her." He smirked. I felt like my heart stopped for a minute. Gavin
walked over to me, grabbing my wrist again. He tightened his grip, harder this time. I shut
my eyes. Joe grabbed Gavin's wrist, pulling it away from mine.

"Leave her alone. All of you." He said, almost in a whisper. Everyone, including me, looked
at him.

"You know nothing about her. You spend to much time trying to change her." He said. I
smiled. Insted of saying another word, I wrapped my arms around his neck, and pushed my
lips to his.

Haha. This really reminds me of Simpsons. It starts off doing one thing in the begining, and at the end, it usually has nothing to do with the start. xD
