Hello Beautiful

It was already the middle of the summer and it’s been amazingly fun. It turned out that Nina’s parents decided to go on vacation and Nina didn’t want to leave Kevin for the summer. So her parents allowed her to stay with us.

Joe and I were in the living room after dinner laying down on the couch.

“Baby, what do you want for your birthday?” I asked as I looked up at him.

He looked down at me, “I don’t know, my birthday is a month and a half away,” he said, “I haven’t thought about it.”

“Well, start thinking and tell me soon,” I said.

“I don’t want you to get me anything,” he said.

I sighed, “You say that every year, and I never listen,” I said.

He smiled, “I know, but really, don’t get me anything,” he said.

“I’m going to, so stop wasting your breath by telling me not to,” I said.

He sighed, “Fine,” he said.

“WE’RE GOING TO NEW YORK!” Paul shouted as he came down the stairs.

Joe and I sat up as Denise, Nick, and Frankie walked out of the kitchen and Nina and Kevin walked down the stairs.

“For what, honey?” Denise asked.

“The boys have three interviews, two charity concerts, and two photo shoots,” Paul explained.

“Nina and I will stay and babysit Frankie,” I volunteered and Nina nodded.

Denise laughed, “Sweetheart, we don’t need a babysitter, you two are coming with us,” she said.

Nina and my eyes widened, “Really?” we said together.

“Of course,” Paul said.

“Awesome!” Nina and I shouted as everyone laughed.

“We leave tomorrow, so start packing,” Paul said.

“I have no idea how to pack for New York,” Nina said.

Kevin grabbed her hand, “I’ll help you, baby,” he said as he kissed her cheek and pulled her up the stairs.

We all walked up the stairs so that we could pack as well.

It took Joe and I about two hours to pack because he had to approve of everything that I put in my suitcase.

Joe looked at his iPhone, “Wow, it’s already ten thirty,” he said.

I nodded, “I’m going to take a shower,” I said.

“Can I come?” he asked with an innocent smile.

I laughed and nodded.

Nina’s P.O.V.

I zipped up my suitcase at the exact time Kevin zipped up his. We just looked at each other and laughed.

Kevin then placed his hands on my hips and pulled me towards him.

I looked up at him and he smiled.

I returned the smile almost instantly.

“What?” I asked with a small laugh.

He shook his head, brought his hand up to my face, and softly pressed his lips against mine.

I smiled against his lips and kissed him back.

“I love you,” he said once we pulled away.

Oh my gosh, he loves me. Do I love him?...OF COURSE!

I reached up and pecked his lips, “I love you, too,” I said to him.

He sighed, “Thank god that you said it back,” he said in relief.

I smiled, “Of course, I would,” I said to him.

Kevin grinned and pulled me down on the bed and crawled on top of me.

I laughed, “Someone’s feeling naughty,” I said with a smile.

He nodded, “Extremely,” he said pressing his lips against mine roughly.

Jewel’s P.O.V.

After showering Joe and I put on our pajamas and crawled into bed.

“Goodnight, baby,” Joe whispered as I placed my head on his chest and he wrapped his arm around me, “I love you.”

I moved my head up slightly so that I could kiss him.

He moved his head down and placed a sweet kiss on my lips.

And with that we fell asleep.

The following afternoon we were being driven to the private jet.

All of a sudden my phone vibrated in my pocket. It was a text from Nina.

Kevin told me he loved me last night. :D :D :D

I looked up at her and she grinned widely at me.

I laughed softly and showed Joe the text and he smiled.

I am so happy for her!

I am so happy for you, dude!! Did you tell him that you loved him too??

I clicked send.

As soon as she got it, she looked up and nodded wildly, and I smiled.

We finally got to the place where the private jet was.

“Holy moly, this thing is huge!” Nina said as we got out of the limo.

Kevin laughed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

“Just wait until you see the inside,” I said as Joe grabbed my hand.

We all boarded the jet.

“Wow!” Nina said as the rest of us laughed.

“It’s pretty awesome, huh,” Nick said.

Nina nodded, “It’s amazing,” she said.

We all made ourselves comfortable.

The jet ride was fun. We played on the xBox, and watched a movie. We had all fallen asleep during the movie.

I felt someone’s lips on my cheek, “Baby, we’re here,” Joe whispered.

My eyes opened slowly and I noticed that we were about to land.

I glanced at Kevin and Nina and Kevin was waking her up gently.

I put my head on Joe’s shoulder, “I’m tired,” I said lazily.

Joe kissed my forehead and laughed, “We’ll be at the hotel soon,” he said.

“What time do we have to wake up tomorrow, honey?” Denise asked Paul.

Paul glanced at the schedule, “Not to early, around nine,” he said.

“That’s to early,” Nick complained.

“Too bad,” Paul said with a laugh.

Once we landed, we exited the jet, and there was a limo already waiting for us.

We got in the limo, “Can we stop for Starbucks?” Kevin asked hopefully.

“No!” The whole limo said.

He made a face and Nina laughed slightly and kissed his cheek.

“It’s too late, sweetheart,” Denise said looking at him.

“Fine, but I want Starbucks for Nina and I when we wake up,” Kevin said.

Paul nodded, “Fine, I’ll let the assistants know,” he said.

“Aww, Frankie fell asleep already,” I said as I noticed Frankie leaning against me sound asleep.

“My baby is tired,” Denise said.

“No, mom, I’m not tired,” Joe joked as the rest of us laughed.

An hour later we were at The Plaza.

“The Plaza?” Nina said, “Are you serious?”

Paul nodded, “Best in New York,” he said.

Nina smiled, “Wow,” she said.

“You’re so cute,” Kevin said wrapping his arms around her and kissing her.

“Aww,” we all said together.

We waited for Paul in the lobby so that he could get our room keys. I leaned against Joe’s chest the whole time because I was so exhausted.

“You guys are staying in Royal Plaza Suite,” Paul said.

“Awesome,” the boys said together.

“We are going to be in The Plaza Suite,” Paul said.

“Where am I staying?” Frankie asked as he rubbed his eyes.

“With us, sweetheart,” Denise said kissing his forehead.

He nodded gently.

Then we were escorted to our suite.
