Valeria’s POV
I raced over the gravel and braked hard to stop myself colliding with the building, laughing the whole time waiting for the boys to come to a halt next to my car.
The whole ride back we had been alternating who was ahead and every time we levelled we would pull faces and stuff at each other until one of us pulled ahead and at the last one I pulled ahead and kept going while doing crazy moves like sudden brakes and swerving to get them to slow down which they did every time and I pulled ahead by far.
I got out of the car when they screeched to a halt next to me and walked over to their car. I reached it as they got out and Brian shouted
“damn woman! You’re a crazier driver than Matt!” I laughed at him and replied
“well maybe you just suck at driving and say we are crazy to make yourself better” Matt chuckled with me as Brian put on a mock mad face with a pout thrown in. I quietened my laugh to giggles and looked at Matt
“well Matt what do you say we leave pouty over there and go find me a room to sleep in?” Matt grinned at me
“why of course mi’lady” then he stuck out his elbow
“shall we?” I grinned and linked arms with him and headed towards the house, Matt sticking his tongue out at Brian as we passed. When we reached the door Brian ran after us shouting
“hey I wanna pick a room too!” then he ran up on my other side and linked arms with me too.
“well then boys I haven’t actually been anywhere in here except the formal living room so show me the rooms, not yours preferably” Brian cursed under his breath and I giggled
“haha Brian anyway I need sleep and I so know you guys are not gonna let me get it so I need a room with a lock, preferably dead bolt so you can’t wake me up in the morning” Matt grinned
“sorry no dead bolt locks in this place in case of emergencies”
“well shucks that’s no fun” I sighed
“well I guess I have to have a plain old room then”
They took me up stairs and showed me a couple of rooms but it was the 4th one they showed me that I liked the best.
I walked in and gazed around myself and nodded
“I can do a lot to this place, I love it” I then ran and jumped on my new bed then turned over to look at the boys
“what are you doing all the way over there?” they looked at each other then ran and jumped into the bed with me, I yelped and curled up to avoid being hit by bodies then yelped again when my body was sent upwards by the force of them landing on my bed.
“damn guys I need a bed not a bouncy castle!” then I poked them both in the side and they wriggled away from me.
I lay on my back looking at the ceiling with the boys on either side of me, bored of the silence I asked
“does anyone else live here?” Brian spoke up first
“yeah we have three other guys living here”
“god help me” I muttered and Matt laughed
“don’t worry honey Jimmy has a wife and kid and Zacky has a girlfriend, the only one you have to worry about is Johnny” Brian added
“yeah he’s going through his ‘fuck ‘em then leave’ stage, he thinks his life is a big old party right now” I smiled
“well let him have his party, everyone burns out at some point from too much partying, soon he will want a real relationship, just you wait” the guys grunted and scoffed in response. I raised an eyebrow
“well how about you guys, you haven’t mentioned yourselves yet?” I felt Matt shrug and Brian sigh then Matt answered
“we just haven’t found the right girls yet”
“always lookin’ though right man” Brian added
“cheers to that man” Matt replied and I giggled at them and sat up and patted them on the knee
“well you let me know when that happens guys, anyways” ^yawn^ “when do I get to meet your friends?” Matt sat up and looked at me,
“tomorrow before we go to get your stuff, right now you’re tired and so are we now go to bed” I grinned cheekily at him
“how am I supposed to do that when you lazy bums are on it?” Matt smirked and got off the bed while I looked down at Brian who had pulled his fedora off and laid it over his face
“aww look at the sleeping puppy” then I pushed him off the bed and he landed with a thump and a yelp. He glared up at me
“what was that for?”
“I want to sleep” I said as innocently as I could with Matt laughing in the background. Brian tried not to smile as he got up and stomped out of the room and down the hall. Matt smiled at me from the door and said
“good night Valeria” I smiled back at him
“Della buonanotte Matt and see ya in the morning” I waved as he closed the door then as it shut I raced over, grabbed a chair and stuck it under the door handle so they couldn’t get in my room unexpectedly during the night.
“I definitely need a lock” I said to myself as I slipped off my shoes and shucked off my jeans then got into bed and fell asleep quickly.

Matt’s POV
I walked down the hall after Brian and found him lounging in the theatre a few doors down. He always came in here when he was bored or wanted to talk, I walked in and sat on the sofa opposite him, he handed me a beer which I necked straight away.
“so you like her then?” I nearly spat out my beer
“I what? Nah man I think she’s hot yeah with face, body, voice and she has a great personality; damn yeah ok I like her but that’s it, she’s a cool girl” he nodded
“yeah she is cool, packs a good hit but is fun when she’s not beating your ass or killing ya, why do you think she started it?” I shrugged
“by the looks of tonight’s meeting, she did it to get back at her dad, no idea what he did wrong but it’s made her hate the mafia enough to start killing members, I don’t know man I mean she is good at it, I heard a couple of guys yesterday talking about hits goin’ out on our men, someone taking down a whole branch of informants, go betweens, carriers, heck even lawyers and now a judge! She’s doing pretty good”
“you think Don wants her on the team as a hit man?” I shrugged
“probably I mean he don’t get people in who have been killing our guys and then let them stay with us often does he?” Brian nodded and sipped some of his beer while I did the same.
I finished my beer and placed the bottle on the table in front of myself and Brian did the same moments later.
“after we get her stuff back here tomorrow, you wanna take her to the club we’ve been watching? Give her a welcoming?”
“sure Brian, we gotta go there anyway and keep watch, might as well have a party while we’re there and hey she may even help us”
“that’s if Don doesn’t make her go somewhere else to work” I just shrugged again and looked at my hands.
“are the others home?”
“err I saw Jimmy’s and Zacky’s cars in the drive, Johnny is probably at a girls house right now having a grand ‘ole time” Brian laughed
“yeah probably, you know I hope he does get a girl like Valeria said, he looks downright depressed sometimes when he looks over at Zacky and Jimmy” I grinned “don’t we though?” we then laughed and I yawned half way through “aww man I’m beat, she tired me out!” Brian laughed
“and she didn’t even do any rigorous activity with you” he then laughed while I threw a pillow at him and stood up
“I’m off to bed, see ya later man”
“yeah I’m goin’ too, later” we then left the room and headed off in different directions.
I was secretly glad she has chosen that room as it was right next to mine, and I was damn glad I didn’t turn it into a games room like I planned to. I walked in and turned on the light, and looked around my dull room, maybe I needed to redecorate as well, I mean I have lived here about 3 years and that whole time I just kept this room as it was because I was too busy with other stuff to care about it but now I think I want to make it look more…me. I went over and got rid of my clothing and put it in a hamper in the bathroom then pulled on a pair of pj pants and got into bed after turning the lights out, I’ll have a shower tomorrow when I wake up. I turned over and set my alarm to go off at 8 in the morning then rolled over and fell asleep.
