Valeria’s POV
I hugged Ari to me as tears flowed down my face. We were stood at the departure gate where Ari and Zacky were going to board a plane which would take them to Australia for their honeymoon. Ari had always wanted to go there and swim with sharks and Zacky was happy to go though he was worried about the sharks.
I pulled back and looking at Ari’s face I let out a short laugh as she had tears streaming down her face as well. Looking at me she said
“I’ve never been away from you this long” I laughed
“well we have to grow up some time right? And hey you get to go find fluffy!” Ari grinned
“yeah my own shark would be great though I don’t think Zacky would welcome one” I scoffed
“psh you guys are married now and that means what you say goes” Ari laughed and hugged me again before a voice came over the speakers announcing that she had to go. We clutched at each other again before I stepped back and she waved then walked over to Zacky who was talking to Matt and Matt left them and came over to me where he pulled me into him and said
“they’ll be back before you know it” I nodded and waved at Ari and Zacky before they disappeared through the door which closed after them.
We stayed long enough to watch the plane take off before going back home where we walked into the kitchen and Matt made me a sandwich which I ate slowly. When I finished I thanked him with a kiss and as I went to go he pulled me in for a deeper one. I felt him groan and I pulled away giggling and said
“not in the kitchen Romeo” he pouted
“but I have tons of ideas for this room alone!” I laughed and replied
“well those idea’s will have to wait for when we get our own place” he sighed and followed me as I walked out of the room and into the living room where I plopped down on the couch and grabbed the remote turning on the TV and flicking through the channels until I came across the WWE bottom line and watched as John Cena fought Randy Orten. Matt sat next to me and watched with me as Orten got slammed into the floor. I cheered
“go Cena!” Matt looked from me to the screen and grumbled
“I could so kick Cena’s ass” I turned to him and raised a brow
“oh really?” he nodded
“hell yeah he can’t fight without it being rehearsed!” I gasped
“how dare you, Cena is the best in and out of the ring” he glared at me and said
“I don’t think so and why are you thinking about him” I giggled
“somebody’s jealous” Matt groaned
“I am not jealous of that steroid taking loser” I gaped at him and he grinned before getting up and scooping me into his arms making me yelp in surprise as I asked
“what are you doing?!” he grinned down at me and replied
“showing you who’s better out of the ring” I laughed and said
“you know this doesn’t prove you’re a better wrestler” Matt scoffed
“I don’t need to be a better wrestler than him” I just laughed as he carried me into his room and we quickly fell on the bed and took our clothes off.

The next morning I walked into my room after taking a shower and walked over to my chest of drawers where I hunted through them for a pair of underwear. While searching, I found my stash of sanitary pads, pulling them out I looked at them and tried to remember the last time I used them but I couldn’t.
Worried I pulled on my underwear and put the pads back in the draw before walking over to my bedside table and looking in the draw I found my calendar book in which I kept a record of when I had my periods. Looking through for my last one I found that it was about a month and 3 weeks ago. I was really worried now so I grabbed my phone and rang Madre who picked up the phone
“hello?” I clutched the phone and asked
“hey it’s me Madre, can I come over?” I heard Madre scoff
“well of course you can, come right over” I smiled
“thanks Madre, I’ll be round in ten” I then said good bye and hung up.
Grabbing some clothes I pulled them on and hurried down the stairs. Reaching the bottom I walked into the kitchen where Matt, Brian and Kat were sat and I grabbed my keys off the hook. Walking over to Matt I leaned over him and kissed his cheek saying
“I’m going to see Madre for a little bit ok?” he nodded and I smiled at Brian and Kat before kissing Matt on the lips then headed out the door.
Reaching Madre’s I hopped out of the car and hurried up the steps to her door which I didn’t bother knocking on but simply opened and walked in.
Looking around I found her in the kitchen where she was kneading dough on the counter probably to make some bread though it could be anything with Madre really. Looking up she saw me and smiled before motioning to the stool at the counter which I gratefully sat in and she asked
“so what’s the matter with you then?” I loved how she knew that something was wrong without my even telling her so taking a deep breath I told her
“I haven’t had my period in about a month and 3 weeks” Madre paused her kneading and looked up at me asking
“are you sure, you’re not just late?” I shook my head
“the most I have ever been late is a week” she nodded and grabbing a towel she cleaned her hands and walked around the counter to sit on the stool next to me
“so you want to know if you’re pregnant?” I nodded and Madre said “well you can take a home test but they aren’t as good as getting a blood test” I sighed and nodded again saying
“well I want to know for sure so can you call the family doctor for me and get an appointment?” Madre nodded and patting my knee she said
“it’s alright darling” I just nodded mutely as she went and picked up the phone.
It turned out that they had a slot open in 30 minutes so I got in the car with Madre and we made our way to the doctors.
In the waiting room I sat fiddling with my hands as Madre read a magazine. I was so nervous so turning to Madre I asked quietly
“what if I’m not ready for a baby?” Madre put down the magazine and looking at me she said
“Valeria Diva Lodovico you are one of the only people I know that can and will take anything life throws at you and you look after your sister so well even though she is older that you are quite capable of looking after a child” I laughed slightly and asked Madre
“are you comparing Ari to a kid?” Madre grinned and shrugged
“well sometimes I do wonder about her...” I laughed and nudged her
“I am so telling her you said that” Madre was about to retort when a nurse called out
“Valeria Lodovico” I looked at her and she gave me an encouraging smile so I got up and followed the nurse.
In the doctor’s office I sat on the examination table and he asked
“so what seems to be the problem?” I looked at my shoes and said
“I think I may be pregnant” the doctor nodded and said
“right well it’s easy to find out I can take some blood and we can test it though it will take a couple of days for the results to come back ok?” I sighed and nodded. He then took some blood and told me to go home and he would call me when the results came back.
I thanked him before going back to the waiting room and Madre got up and we headed back to hers where I dropped her off before heading home myself, nervous and wondering if I can keep it from Matt?
