Meet My Cousin
Chapter 6
Billie Joe's P.O.V.
When I woke up, my mom was in the kitchen. Trish was still cradled against me sleeping. I woke up around 8 o'clock last night, and I called her mom to let her know what had happened. A few moments later my mom walked out of the kitchen. She noticed that I was awake and walked over towards me. She began asking me about last night. I had to shush her because Trish was still sleeping.
"What happened last night, Billie Joe?" My mom asked in a whisper.
"She was raped, Mom." I replied, equally quiet.
I told her everything that happened. My mom apologized. As she walked away, she smiled as if she knew something that I didn't.
An hour or so later, Trish woke up. She jumped slightly when she noticed that she had been sleeping against me. She blushed momentarily. Then she tried to get up, but fell back on to the couch. I stood up and helped her to the bathroom. When she was done, she came into the living room. My mom talked her into eating so that she could take a Tylenol. After we ate, I offered to take her home.
