Hello Beautiful.

It was October 22nd. The parents decided to have a spa day in Omaha, Nebraska. The kids were out on the town, getting asked to sign autographs left, right and center. Joe was walking down the street humming to the music in his head. Lauren was dancing next to Joe, because she found the music he was humming to be “danceable.” Kaycie and Kevin were shoving each other. First Kevin would shove the brunette, then the brunette would shove him back. Miley laughed to herself. They’d all be together sooner or later. Nick looked sideways at Miley, wondering what she was laughing at.

Over the past four days, Miley and Nick have gotten pretty close. They talked about everything, past crushes, first kisses, home life, everything. They were pretty much inseparable. They were always talking together, laughing together, joking together. Miley wondered if they would ever be together. Miley shook her head at herself, what was she thinking. Nicholas was merely her best friend, she only liked him as such.

“What’re you laughing at Miley?” Nick asked. Miley smiled.

“Your brothers and the girls.” Miley started. “They obviously like each other. I mean, look at Lauren and Joe. Just the way they look at each other, you can tell they were meant to be. And Kevin, look at how he looks at Kaycie when she doesn’t realize it, and how Kaycie just glows around him.”

Nick nodded at the blue eyed female. He understood. Miley flashed Nick a smile, and he smiled back. They continued talking about the most random things, until they heard Lauren and Joe scream. “KARAOKE BAR!” The two ran up to it, and went in. Kaycie ran towards the door, only to be followed by Kevin. Nick and Miley ran to catch up to the rest of the group. They got in and sat at the table the others were sitting at. Joe was missing.
They saw him up on stage.
“Oh god.” Kevin said and smacked his head.

“Okay ladies and gentlemen, today we have a newcomer to the stage, please welcome…”

“DJ DANGAAH!” Joe yelled. The group of five laughed at their friend.

The music started, and Nick groaned.

“No Joe. Please don’t Joe…” Miley gave Nick a questioning look. He just shook his head.

he pointed at Lauren, and she started laughing

Joe started doing a little dance on stage and Miley was in hysterics, along with the rest of the group.

Joe started spinning in circles, and ran down into the crowd.

He took Lauren’s hand, and pulled her on stage.

The two were dancing together, and laughing. Lauren joined in singing

Joe watched as Lauren twirled. He laughed at her, and they kept singing.

Joe dipped Lauren, just like they do in those old fashioned movies, when they’re slow dancing and the man dips the woman.

Somehow, at the end of the song, Joe ended up on one knee, and Lauren’s hand in his. Lauren laughed and bowed. Joe smiled. He kissed Lauren’s hand and they ran off stage. The rest of the group were telling them how wonderful they were, that they didn’t notice Miley get up to sing.

The group turned to the stage, as they heard the music start. This performer got no introduction, they just got up there and sang.

Miley picked the microphone stand up and threw it into the air

Miley started to walk around the stage, pausing every now and then to look into the crowd
He looks around the room
Innocently overlooks the truth

Miley looked at Nick, and smiled

She started to sway, her brown hair flowing back and forth as she did

She started jumping on the spot and then stopped. She smiled into the crowd

The song ended and the crowd clapped. Miley walked over to the table, and was greeted by a bunch of congratulations. Nick smiled at her. He had never met anyone so amazing. He wished him and Miley could be like how his brother’s are with Lauren and Kaycie. Nick stopped his thoughts… he didn’t just wish that him and his best friend were more than best friends. Did he? He shook his head, he couldn’t like her more than a friend. She’s too good for him. He smacked his forehead. ‘Shut up Nick. Don’t think like that. She’s you’re friend.’ Miley was looking at Nick weird.

“You were amazing Miley.” He said. Miley said thanks and continued watching the rest of the performers.
Kevin and Kaycie sang “Summer Loving” From Grease. They were so cute. At the end, Kaycie kissed Kevin on the cheek, and blushed insanely. People in the karaoke bar didn’t really bother the group, because a lot of them were older people, who didn’t listen to their music, so the teenagers were grateful for this.

The group of six headed out of the karaoke bar around eight o’clock. They had a early morning the next day, concerts and such. They walked back to the hotel, went to their rooms. The girls all to theirs. The boys stopped in to tell the parents that they were home. The girls were in their room having girl talk.

“So Lauren, you and Joe eh?” Kaycie nudged Lauren, who blushed.
“Yeah, so what if I maybe like him? He’s cute. What about you and Kevin, eh? You guys are pretty cutesy.” Lauren poked Kaycie’s side. Kaycie squealed.
“Hmm, maybe I do like him, maybe I don’t. What about Miley and Nick?” The girls looked at Miley and waggled their eyebrows, then laughed.
“We’re only friends.” Miley said the sighed. How she wished they were more. Miley shook her head, she really needed to stop wishing that.
“Miley likes Nicky. Miley likes Nicky. Haha ! Lauren, they can be Niley!” Kaycie squealed.

Lauren laughed and nudged Miley. The blue eyed girl smiled. She couldn’t like Nick… could she?
