Somehwere Between Hell and Zombies

The bedroom door I was pulled into was shut and locked before Derek had any time to

react. I heard him beating on the door and yelling my name worriedly as my eyes slowly

adjusted to my dark surroundings. When I was able to focus, I recognized who had pulled

me inside and let out a startled gasp. I wasn't' t even sure if he recognized me, but I ran over

and gave him a hug. "Carmine!" I exclaimed excitedly, and when he remembered who I was,

he revealed a giant smile and hugged me back.

"Derek's outside the door, can you please let him in?" I asked. He nodded and as he went

to the door.

Carmine was a student at our high school, and is only a few years older than me. We've

been pretty good friends for a while now.

I suppose you guys might like to know what we all look like, so you can better envision the

story huh? Okay, well first there is me; I'm 5'4 with green eyes, and dark blond hair. I am a

little pudgy, but it helps for the winter, and am quite the comedic smart Alec. Derek is 5'7,

with black hair and adorable brown eyes. He as an athletic build, and is usually quite

serious. He looks like a young boy sometimes, but when he grows out his beard, he looks

like a very mature man. Then there is Carmine; he is about 5'8 with blond hair and pristine

blue eyes. They are so breath taking! he too has an athletic build, and looks like a very good

looking geek. He sports glasses and a goatee that I can't ever remember seeing him

without. He also has a somewhat dry and sarcastic sense of humor that makes him fun to

be around.

As Carmine opened the door to let Derek in, he was punched Right in the face! When

Carmine finally came to, Derek apologized.

"Hey man, I'm sorry about that, you just really scared me thats all."

"Yea I know, and I"m sorry too, but you guys scared me too. I thought I was the only one left."

Carmine responded. We just sat and talked for a while, until he said he was leaving to

check out a few more places. We told him to meet us at the High school, in the morning and

we would leave from there. So after finding an Axe he left us without an agreement to meet

again. Exhausted from a long day and a big scare, we went up to Derek's room and fell

asleep in only a matter of minutes
