Wreckage From the Past Haunts Me; Shakes Me to the Bone

"Hey Hun." Nikki said softly as she sat on my bed where I was watching Aidyn roll around.

"Hey." I said giggling slightly as Aidyn discovered his feet. He looked up at Nikki and then back to his feet before chewing on them.

"Are you okay?" She asked as she picked up Aidyn and started through him in the air. He was biting his hand and giggling.

"As much as I can be. I mean I just found out that the guy I thought I loved and beat me is getting out in three months!" I said as I sighed, "Sorry I'm just stressed. I was just supposed to go shopping and get Vicki some stuff. Nothing about running in to your sister's ex boyfriend that did the same to her as mine did to me! Or the fact the Vicki knew him! Nikki what are we going to do? He knows we're with Matt now. He knows we have Vicki and knowing Brandon he's going to go after the things we love the most. That's everyone in this house. Mainly Tegan, Matt, Aidyn and Vicki." Tears had started to fall down my face as she pulled me into a hug.

"Don't stress over it. You have over 50 people that are only a phone call away. I know it's an extremely stressful time, but we'll get through it. I promise. Plus I'd like to see someone try and kidnap Matt." She said laughing. I had to laugh at that too. Matt's a big guy. I don't think I would screw with him. Well I take that back. I would because I know his limits.

"You're right. I'm just thinking over it too much."

"Yep! No lets go down stairs!" She said as she picked up Aidyn.

"I'm going to change first ok?" She nodded. I looked over at the clock to see it was 7:30 at night. I grabbed a pair of my purple plaid lounge short shorts, a black tank top, and a pair of purple striped tube socks before putting my hair up. I sighed before I heard another knock on my door. I opened it up to see Vicki standing there biting her lip.

"I sowwy." She said kicking her little foot back and forth as if she was kicking a rock.

"What are you sorry about baby?" I asked kneeling in front of her.

"Making you cry."

"Oh hunny you didn't make me cry. That man did."

"Why?" She asked sniffling.

"Because he's a bad person who really hurt my sister."

"He hurt Aunty Liz too." I smiled at her weakly before pulling her into a hug.

"Well he's not going to be around anymore ok?" I heard Jimmy say. I looked up to see Jimmy standing there leaning against the door.

"Can we watch movies?" She asked. I think that's the first sentence she's actually said. Me and Jimmy smiled before nodding. We walked down stairs to see everyone sitting around with blankets and pop corn. Tegan was curled up in Zacky's lap with his arms wrapped tightly around her. She had changed too out of her out fit and into a pair of black and red plaid shorts and a red tank top with red tube socks. I walked over to Matt and curled into his lap making him wrap his arms around me. Tegan smiled over at me before crawling out of Zacky's lap and on to Matt's other leg. He laughed before wrapping one arm around her and shifting so I was sitting on his left leg with my legs between his and Tegan was on on right with her legs over mine. We both leaned back against him and put or heads on his chest. Vicki walked into our theater with Brian came out with Peter Pan.

"We watch Tink?!" She asked jumping up and down. We all laughed as Jocelyn got up and put the movie in. Johnny walked over and turned off the lights making Vicki jump into Jimmy's lap. She reached over and pulled me down slightly.

"Me have ice cream?" She asked giving me her dads famous pout. I smiled before realizing that we didn't have any ice cream.

"Sorry hun. We don't have any ice cream." I said. She sighed and nodded. She's been through a lot today. She deserves it. I looked over at Tegan. She smiled and nodded before getting up and walking back to our rooms. I pulled on my tall black Beach Feet boots and my Avenged Sevenfold hoodie before grabbing my wallet. I walked out into the hall way to see Tegan nearly falling over before standing up sporting her dark grey Beach Feet boots.

"I tripped over Zacky's pants." She said as I raised my eye brow making her laugh, "Nothing like that I swear. You know none of the guys like to sleep in their clothes. You're lucky if they sleep in boxers." I laughed knowing it was true.

"OH God its high school! Get your asses in your room and change your clothes!" Matt hissed.

"But brother dearest how will boys see our legs?" Tegan whined and stomped her foot and ran her hand up her leg. I swear Zacky's jaw shattered it drooped so fast.

"Or our bodies? I mean I had a kid and my body looks good!" I said just adding on to what Tegan said. Jimmy was trying so hard not to laugh, but at the same time you could tell there was something going on in his mind. We both looked at each other and smiled and shook our heads before running out of the house and into the car before Matt could say anything.

"Call Johnny." I said as I jumped into my SUV.

"Why?" She asked, probably wondering why I told her to call the smallest member out of the guys. I pulled out of the garage and into the street, but parked around the corner.

"Well if we call Jimmy or Zacky it'll look obvious. Brian will open his mouth and say something that'll immediately link him to us and Matt'll kill us!" I explained. She nodded and called him.

"Hey get out side." She said as she put it on speaker.

"Why?"

"Because we want to go get ice cream and things for sundaes, but we're not going alone." She said as she bit her nail.

"And why me?"

"Less suspicious." I said.

"Alright well I'll be there in a second. Let me just tell my girlfriend real fast...Hun...No I have to deal with some annoying little twins."

"We are not annoying. Trista might be, but I'm not." I looked over at her and smacker her in the back of the head.

Hey both of you are annoying!" He said. We heard Brian ask where he was going before we saw Johnny walk out side and walk towards us. Johnny got into the back of the car before buckling in. I looked towards the front again before turning on the car and the head lights. I scream as I saw a man standing in front of the car smiling at us with a sinister smile and his arms crossed.

"Brian you ass!" I yelled at him. He laughed before walking over to the drivers seat.

"That was priceless. Anyways your bother wants you to know you're dead and where you're going."

"I know we are and we're going to go get things for sundaes."

"Grab some beer too!" He said walking away.

"You're not getting beer are you?" Tegan asked. I smirked and nodded.

"Well...No. I'm getting Root beer!" I said laughing. They both laughed at me before smacking me.

"Oww!" I yelled as I pulled away from the curb. Once we reached the store we established that I would get the ice cream, Tegan would get the candy and I have no clue about Johnny. I told him to get bananas, but he's a little shit so we know he won't. I stood in front of the ice cream deciding what to get. I finally just grabbed Vanilla, chocolate, and butter pecan. I walked over to the candy to see Tegan stand they with her arms full of candy I pushed the basket over to her and let her drop it all in before i grabbed venoms for Nikki and various things for everyone else. I walked by the magazine rack to see AP magazine had mine and Tegan's picture from the night with Brandon on the cover. I picked it up and put it in the basket, but didn't look at it again. I walked over to Tegan and pushed her into the basket as well before laughing at her expression.

"Off to find Johnny!" She yelled as she knelled in the cart. I ran into Johnny with the cart making us laugh before I fell over. I scream when something wet hit me before looking up at Johnny and seeing him pouring a bottle of water on Tegan. We both got up and chased him through the store making him trip and run into many things. He threw stuff off of the shelfs at us before running into someone.

"Your total is $562." The manager said as she handed up our cart. We nodded trying not to laugh before quietly walking out of the store after paying her in cash. Well after Johnny paid her.

We got home and Matt was sitting outside with his arms crossed dover his chest.

"The store called." He said smirking. We all looked at each other before busting up laughing. Just like he said earlier 'Oh God this is just like high school.' I feel like the daughter who got caught with her boyfriend!
