Wreckage From the Past Haunts Me; Shakes Me to the Bone

"So what's the last song that we're going to put on the album?" Lusty asked. I think I found out the great part of having a studio in your older brothers home. You don't have to get dressed. All of us girls were lounging around in out pajamas. Hey can you blame us? We're comfortable!

"Umm...I say that we take off Face Down and replace it with The Flood instead and for the last song we put Taking Over." I said as I tossed one of my drum sticks back and forth.

"Why do you want to take Face Down off? That's a really powerful song." Jocie stated.

"I know, but that's one of the songs that I'm singing and I think it's a little too personal for more then one member of this band. We can make it a bonus if we want it that bad?"

"I see your point. Yeah let's make it a bonus because I don't think I could sing it either." She said as she put her head in her hands. I reached over and rubber her back making her lean into me more. I hugged her tightly before she pulled away and fixed her Hello Kitty night shirt. I really think she bought it to get a rise out of Matt. He hates Hello Kitty. It's so much fun!

"Ok so then it's settled the listing goes Slow Burn, We Stand Up, Sos (Anything but love), Sweet Sacrifice, Dead Memories, If Everyone Cared, In Fates Hands, The Flood, and Taking Over. That's only nine. I though we wanted ten." Tegan said as she thought.

"We could always do a cover." Nikki said thoughtfully.

"Wouldn't that be considered more of a bonus though?" Lusty asked.

"I don't know. You know what. I'm gonna go ask Mudrock!" Jocie said standing up and walking out of the room.

"OK so if it is a bonus which song?" Nikki asked.

"Maybe Five Vicodin Chased With A Shot Of Clarity?" Tegan said.

"Yeah I really like that one." Nikki said.

"Hey Mudrock said that it would be a bonus, but I still want to do it because we can do one of the guy's." She said smiling.

"We could keep it from them until after the record is out." Nikki said as she laughed. We all nodded and thought. If we could do one which one would it be?

"Second Heartbeat!" I yelled laughing, "God that would be like the best one to do!"

"Hell Yeah. The kick ass drums!" Both me and Jocelyn yelled.

"The dueling guitars and the solo!" Lusty and Nikki said jumping up and down slightly.

"The kick ass bass line." Tegan said laughing.

"The lyrics!" Jocelyn said smiling and nodding her head.

"Lets do it!" Nikki said as she got up and grabbed her guitar.

"Twista?" I heard a voice say as a tired little body walked my way.

"Hey sweetie." I said picking her up.

"Daddy need you."

"OK love." I said as I picked her up. Her head immediately went into the crook of my neck. It was like her favorite spot. I told the girls that I would be right back before I walked up the stairs to see Jimmy nearly falling asleep holding Aidyn who was quietly watching the bright colors on TV. Aidyn giggled and I looked back to see Matt making a face t him. I laughed before motioned for Matt to grab him from Jimmy.

"Jimmy." I said as I walked over to him. I put Vicki down on the ground and handed her a coloring book and a marker before I went to wake up Jimmy again. He jumped up with a start and nearly hit me in the head.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I saw the sweat drip down his face.

"Bad dream." He said simply. He went to stand up, but fell over making me grab his arm and help him up the stairs. I wrapped an arm around his waist as he slowly climbed each stair. I swear I could hear his mind telling his body to move. He was so tired. I had no idea where he was going, but he was leading me there. I slowly saw that he was leading me to the bathroom.

"I want to take a shower. I think I'm ok now. You don't have to help me." He said as he looked at me, but knowing him all of these years I knew it was the complete opposite. He was actually begging me to stay with him. I changed his direction though and shifted him towards my room.

"I want to make sure you get to your room alright." He nodded and let me help him. I opened my door and lead him inside and made him sit down on the bed while I walked into the bathroom. I walked dover to the bath tub and started the water. There was no way he was going to be able to stand in the shower. I thought of something. Something that was going to make Jimmy laugh. He needed to be cheered up! I know what a lot of you are thinking. He needs to be cheered up what about you?! In my eyes Jimmy's over come more this year then I have. I know it seems weird, but I guess that's just my frame of mind.

I reached under my sink for what I was looking for until my hand hit a bottle. Just what I wanted. I grabbed my Black Amethyst bubble bath and put a bit of it in the bath before walking over and grabbing various candles and spreading them out and lighting them. I looked around the bathroom and smiled. he was defiantly going to laugh, but a good laugh. Plus a big secret of Jimmy's is that he actually likes this kind of thing every once in a while. It's even nicer when someone does it for him. I walked out to see Jimmy sitting in bed wit his arms tightly wrapped around Vicki, who was asleep with her head buried in his chest. He had his back against the head board and his glasses were falling off his nose. I smiled before picking Vicki out out of his arms making him open his eyes.

"Go in the bathroom." I said as I laid Vicki down with two pillows on both sides of her; Not really to make sure that she doesn't roll over, but to make her thin that we're both right there. She has nightmares when we're not laying with her. I don't know what it is. I think it's from living with Elizabeth. I walked into the bathroom to see Jimmy laying in the bath with his head resting against the side. I leaned against the frame and sighed slightly. I hoped he didn't hear me, but he did.

"'Mere" He said as he reached one of his hands out and opened one of his eyes. I walked over and knelled down next to the bath making Jimmy chuckle before his hand shot out and pulled me into the bath with him. I screamed as the water went throughJimmy my flannel bottoms and my red tank top.

"You suck so bad!" I said laughing as I looked at all of the water that had splashed over the edge and onto my floor. I looked up at him and he gave a a tired grin.

"You're tired." I said as I ran a hand through his wet hair. I guess he ducked his head under the water.

"Yeah. I was up all night with Vicki. She keeps having those dreams. I asked her what it was about, but she said that she didn't want to talk about it."

"I'll see what I can do for her, but I don't think there's a whole lot that we can do." He nodded in agreement before dropping his head on my shoulder and closing his eyes.

"I need to get out before I fall asleep." He said laughing. I nodded and got up before ringing the water out of my pants and shirt and out of the bathroom. I looked over at Vicki who was grabbing the pillow and sucking her thumb before walking out of the room; wet clothes and all.

"Why are you wet?" Johnny asked as I walked down stairs.

"Because I was rudely pulled into a bath." I answered as I reached up and grabbed coffee cup down and set it on the counter. I grabbed the tea from the top of the refrigerator and put it into the keddle and turned the stove on high before going down to the basement where I heard the vocals being sung in a perfect voice.

"Hey guys!" I said as I walked into the studio.

"Do you think you can do the drums really fast? You've played the song twenty million times. It should only take you try to get it right, right?" Tegan asked as she sat behind the controls.

"Yeah Lusty can you keep an eye on the keddle?" I asked as I sat behind my drums. She nodded her head and ran upstairs. I quickly kicked into gear and started the beat. I smiled as I pressed my feet down on the bass rapidly before easing up a bit. Once the song ended I started to jump up and down making them all laugh at me.

"The song is done!" I cheered. They all tackled me, even Lusty who had come back down not even three seconds before I yelled it.

"Your waters done!" Lusty yelled. We all laughed before I got out of the dog pile and walked upstairs. I ran over to the keddle and poured the tea into a cup and pour some honey in it before grabbing two more and doing the same. Jocelyn walked in and I handed her one and then taking the other two put stairs with me. I walked into the room to see Vicki turning back and forth on the bed. I walked over and brushed my hand through her hair after I had set one of the cups down. She calmed down and I smiled; picked up the cup and walked into the bathroom where Jimmy was still laying in the bath, but now my disco light was making the room turn several colors.

"I haven't seen that since our last crazy party that I believe involved you walking into a store naked." I said as I sat down next to the bath. He started laughing.

"It was really cold in there." He said taking a drink of his tea. I laughed before doing the same.

"So why hot tea?" He asked as he started up at me.

"To relax my throat. Me and Jocelyn have been singing and screaming for hours!" I said leaning back to lay on the floor.

"Get the album done?"

"Yes sir we did! Ten songs and a couple bonus ones."

"That should be fun for the fans. I say we celebrate! Let's go out tonight. I'll have my mom watch the kids. She misses Vicki and loves babies." I nodded. Mrs. Sullivan was a really nice women. I had only met her a few times, but she remembered me every time I was around her.

"I'll go tell the girls and get lunch." I said a as I got up. I walked down stairs and skipped, yes skipped, into the basement.

"Jimmy says we should go out tonight!" I said jumping up and down in place. I suddenly got hyper making them all look at me. they've all known me for over 10 year. You'd think they'd get used to it, but no!

"Ok. Now stop jumping." Lusty said as she watched me.

"I don't' want to!" I said jumping even higher. Nikki came over and started to jump with me and soon there was music filling the room and Tegan was dancing with us. The music cut off and we all looked at Jimmy.

"I'm hungry! Can you go get Sal's?" I sighed and nodded making him laugh.

"Let me go take a shower." I said dragging my feet up the stairs. Once I got into the House I ran upstairs knocking Johnny down them. I yelled sorry making him laugh and he said it was ok. He knew that I get my random hyper moments. I got into the shower and turned it on hot making it burn my skin, but it felt way to good to turn it down. I washed my hair; shaved and all of that good stuff before turning off the water and grabbed my towel only to scream because Jimmy was standing right there.

"Not cool!" I said smacking him as I walked out of my bathroom. He laughed and sat on my bed. I pulled black shirt that had had various signatures from various band members all over it and my black pants. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out my white polka dot bra and matching underwear and slipped those on under my toe and then my pants and shirt. I put my hair up in a messy bun and did my make up.

"By the way the girls went to go get the food." Jimmy said as he looked down at a book in his hands. I looked back to see his famous smirk. I shook my head. I heard him tell Vicki who was starting to wake up that Uncle Dimples was in the living room. I guess she was mumbling about him in her sleep again. When she wakes up she either wants me, Jimmy, or Matt and sometimes Johnny. I sighed and looked down at my Tarina Tarantino necklace that was sitting on the counter. I picked it up and placed it on my neck and smiled. I felt two hands on my hips before I was turned around to face Jimmy.

"I just w-wanted to Ugh!" he said as he dropped his head to my shoulder. I ran a hand through his hair wondering what he was going to ask.

"What is it Jimmy?"

"Will you goout....withme?" I heard him ask, but the end was kind of rushed.

"Are you asking me out?" I asked. He nodded his head and I smiled, "The big bad James Sullivan is nervous about asking a girl out?" I asked. He picked up his head and gave me a lop sided grin.

"You're not just any girl though. Not only are you the most amazing girl I know. You're my best friend's little sister. My best friend that's a lot bigger then me and has the temperament of a three year old." He said as continued to ramble on about how scary Matt was. I smiled before grabbing his head in my hands and kissing him hard on the lips.

"I'd love to!" I said giggling. He smiled and blushed before kissing me softly, "Does Matt know you're asking me out?"

"Do you think I would ask you out without asking your brother?"

"Yes."

"True, but yes I asked him first."

"You asked my brother first?"

"He's a big guy." He said laughing. I had to laugh at that and nod because it was true.

I pulled on my white heels before fixing my dark blue pants and my dark blue strapless top. My hair was down in light curls. I walked out to see Jimmy dressed in his black and key print shirt with his black scarf wrapped around his neck and a pair of tight black pants. His hair was in his typical messy fashion. He looked hot! He chuckled slightly before holding out his hand for me to take. We had taken the kids to his mom's house over an hour ago. She was extremely happy to see them. We walked into the living room to see Jocelyn dressed in her off the shoulder grey top and a dark grey skirt with grey high heels. Her hair was curled too. Tegan was dressed in a black chain halter top and a pair of grey skinny jeans with a pair of black peep toe heels. Niki was dressed in a dark blue halter top that wrapped around her neck and a denim skirt that showed off her legs until you got to her knee high black boots and finally Lusty was wearing a purple halter top with blue skinny jeans and purple knee high boots.

Wow That's a lot. I Laughed to myself as we all walked out of the house and into Matt's SUV.

"Who's the designated driver this time?"

"Johnny!" We all answered.

"Hey why me?"

"Because last time you groped my brother!" Me and Tegan yelled laughing as Matt shudder from the thought. We pulled up at the club that I can't remember the name of and got out. Matt handed the keys to the person and we walked inside. We heard everyone yelling about how we got in before them. Well we have the V.I.P section so it kind of pays. It gets boring sometimes though. As soon as we were in everyone broke off. Most of us went to the V.I.P section and some went to go get drinks for us.

"Something tells me this night is going to be a little extreme." Tegan said laughing. I nodded and started laughing with her. The club was full of the sound of Beep by the Pussycat Dolls. You could pin point which people were already drunk. They were the ones practically having sex on the floor. Jimmy came back and told us that the waitress would bring us five bottles of Jack and various others. I laughed when I saw a huge group of people fall over.

"What do you think caused that?" Matt asked as he laughed with me.

"That drunk chick." I said as I pointed to a girl who was now bending over a trash can. Jocelyn grabbed his hand and lead him down stairs and over to a section of the dance floor that was still standing. I turned and looked to see that now Lusty and Brian were gone too leaving Me, Jimmy, Tegan, Zacky, Nikki and Johnny how was looking extremely sour.

"Johnny I'll drive go drink! Just don't do anything with my brother." I said as I watched his sour mood go up in seconds. I walked over to Jimmy and sat down next to him.

"You're not going to drink?"

"Nah. I'll let Johnny have his night."

"He gets drink every night." Jimmy said laughing. I nodded knowing it was true. Just as i nodded Johnny was thrown back into the room by my brother. Yes actually thrown. I mean Johnny hit the table and broke it.

"Sis drink. He drinks all of the time. When's the last time you drank?" I stayed quite because it was the last time we were out, "Exactly."

"You paying for the table?" The waitress asked as she walked in.

"Put it on my tab." Matt said as he walked away. I laughed as Jimmy handed me a shot. I smiled and downed it before slamming my glass faster then he did. That's probably how our drinking contest started until he pulled me up and dragged me to the dance floor over by our group. S.E.X by Nickle back started to play making me laugh. We looked up to see they had now brought out the dancers. No these girls were strippers. Although they barely had any clothes on. Me and Jimmy started to grinned together. His arms were wrapped around my waist and my one of my arms were around his neck. I could feel his heart beat pick up against my back as the song picked up. Tegan had now joined us and her and Zacky were dancing together. Matt was so into what Jocelyn that he didn't even notice me and Tegan. I'll have to think Jocelyn for that. But then again something tells me I'm not getting a lot of sleep tonight.

"Hey lets go do shots!" Lusty yelled over the music as the song ended. We all nodded and Matt cut me and Jimmy a look. We both smiled innocently before he looked over at Tegan and they did the same. The girls were laughing at us making us flip them off. We all walked back up to the V.I.P spot and watched as Johnny poured the shots. It was the only drink he was getting.

"To finishing our album!" Jocelyn said as she raised her glass.

"To always having surprises!" Zacky said as we all remember the night Vicki was dropped off.

"To forgetting about it all for one night!" I said as we all downed out shot.

"Hey sis!" Tegan yelled.

"What's up?" I asked as I sat on her lap basically crushing her.

"Want to have a drinking contest?" I smiled and nodded at her. She grabbed our two glasses and pour us each a drink. I took the shot feeling the burn go down with it. We had gotten around ten shots before our game was cut short by Brian grabbing the bottle and drinking the rest. It was our last bottle. We both looked at him making him raise his eyebrow.

"Let's go dance!" Nikki said as she grabbed our hands. She was well on her way to being drunk too. All of us girls nodded and got up. I was swaying slightly. Tegan was always much better at holding her alcohol then me. We got down on the dance floor and started dancing as Dirty by Cristina Aguilara came on. We all looked at each other and smirked. We all started to dance together grinding at certain parts of the songs and making all of the guys want us. I swear even a few girls wanted us. Or to be us. I'm not sure which. Didn't matter though. I was having fun with my girls. I felt a pair of hands on my waist and pull me into their hips. I knew who it was. I looked up to see Jimmy standing there.

"I thought it was supposed to be the girls dancing." I said in his ear as I turned around.

"It was until we saw five guys headed your guys' way." He said chuckling. He buried his head in my neck as we continued to dance. I felt him place a soft kiss there every once in a while. Jocelyn came over and whispered something in my ear and I nodded. I pulled away from Jimmy making him look at me funny.

"I'll be right back."

Jimmy's P.O.V

"I'll be right back." She said as she walked away. I watched as her hips swayed o the music even when she was walking. I felt someone smack my head before I looked over at Matt.

"You can not blame me for staring!" I said as I her the familiar intro to 'Girl I Know' came rolling through the club. We looked at each other and smirked knowing how crazy the girls get when this song is played, but I guess this time we were really shown. The girls had gotten up on top of the bar and were not smirking at each other. I watched as Trista started to dance around the bar top. Shaking her hips a long with the beat. She got on her knees and started to flirt with the guys around her. She got up and walked over to Nikki when the Solo came up and they started to grin together making me and Johnny's jaw drop. When the slower part came on she walked over to the other side near Tegan. Jocelyn was teasing Matt so bad. She had dipped own low and went back up making sure that he noticed her long legs, of course he did. He's been eying them all night! Lusty was defiantly showing her nickname to Syn and he was literally drooling. Zacky, even though his eyes were attached to Tegan picked up his jaw without looking at him. Tegan winked at him before giggling. Once the song was over the jumped off the stage and walked over to us.

"That was hot!" I said as I stared at her.

"On that note we need to leave before I kill someone for staring at Katy." Matt said as he pulled us all out of the club. We were all drunk so we were more of stumbling out, but hey we made it to the van. I looked over at Trista who was coming in and out of consciousness. I chuckled slightly making her look at me and mumble 'shut up'. I picked her up out of her seat and placed her in my lap. I placed my head on hers before letting my eyes close.
