Wreckage From the Past Haunts Me; Shakes Me to the Bone

I walked around what looked like an alley way. At least that's what I think it was.There were two brick walls on each side of me. Paint was falling off the buldings above the bricks. Windows were broken and glass was still falling out. Trash littered the floor and dumpsters lids were thrown open. The smell around me was sicking. It smelled not only like the sickening sweet smell of blood, but body oder and hobos. Yet there was no one here.

"I've been through this before, but was it real or some sick dream? This scene replays itself over and over again." I thought as a tear ran down my face.

"Trista." I heard my name whispered. I turned around and looked for however it was that whipered my name, but I didn't see anyone. I heard a sickening laugh. I knew that laugh. I turned around trying to find the source, but that just made him laugh harder. I started to walk down the alley faster trying to escape the laugh that was fillling my ears.

"You're not getting away from me sweetie." I heard him yell out before I felt a weight on top of me holding me to the ground. I screamed as he just laughed.

"Brandon get off of me!" I screamed as I closed my eyes. Suddenly I felt the weight being lifted off my chest. I opened my eyes to see nothing, but pitch black. I heard a scream and a baby crying. My head immeditaly went over to where I heard the scream come from. I saw a light switch on and my eyes widen as I saw Brandon holding Tegan with a blade against her throat as she craddled Aidyn in her arms. He laughed as he took a step back and the ground crumbled where he was holding Tegan making her fall through the floor. I tried to run over to her, but an arm was wrapped around my waist.

"Going somewhere?" Brandon whispered in my ear making chills run down my spin, "Why don't you look over there Tris?" I screamed as I saw my brother laying on the floor with blood surrounding him. Next to him the rest of the guys were laying in a pile except Jimmy.

"Looking for someone?" He asked in a mocking tone.

"Where's Jimmy?" I asked francitcally looking for him.

"You don't need to worry about him, but since you asked." He said as a light turned on to show Jimmy tied to a wooden pole. Like the ones you would see in the Salem witch trials. There were branches all around him. I felt Brandon's arm remove itself from my waist before I ran towards Jimmy. When I was about ten feet away a metal gate dropped from the sky cutting off my way to get to him. I felt someone grab me by the throat and pulling me back as I tried to climb the fence. The atmostphere had changed slightly now. I kept hearing someone say they're were sorry and for me to wake up, but I was awake. Or at least I think I am.

"Ignore it! You're not getting out of this anytime soon." Brandon said in my ear as he flicked a match over by Jimmy and the ground around him erupting in flames. I scremaed before I saw nothing, but black.

"Come on Trista pull out of girl. We need you here. Come Tris you can pull through this. I know you can hear me. Please if not for us then for Matt, and Tegan, but mostly for Aidyn. Come on he needs his momma." I heard someone say. That voice sounded more then fimillar.

"Come on Nikki. We'll come back tomorrow. Girls it's midnight the nurses said we have to go now. She'll wake up soon. I promise." I heard sevreal sniffling sounds from around me.

"Tegan you coming?" I heard Zacky say. I knew it was Zacky. Nikki was the first person I heard. Maybe Johnny was the next. I don't know.

"I'll catch a ride with Jimmy." She said. Her voice sounded distant.

"Ok. Matt get some sleep man. She'll pull through. She always does." By now I knew I was awake I just couldn't move. I couldn't speak.

"Matt you know how they said she could her you?"

"Yeah."

"Johnny pointed out that when you sang her heart rate went up a little. Like she could hear you and she's trying to get back."

"So you want me to sing?"

"Yeah."

I dont want to miss a thing." I smiled as he sang the words. I was growing flustrated though. No mater how tight I gripped his hand he could never feel it. I gripped it one last time before giving up. I felt my hand close around his and him let out a gasp.

"Trista...Trista do it again please." He begged I focused on squeezing his hand again and succeced, "Come on Trista open your eyes. Please open your eyes." I tried to open my eyes, but it felt like weights had been holding my eyes closed.

"Come on Fiction open your eyes!" Tegan said as she ran her fingers thriugh my hair. I tried again to open my eyes this time I got my way and my eyes opened slightly only to shut again.

"I-Its too bright." I groaned making both of them laugh at me. I felt matt let go of my hand and heard a swtich beign flipped.

"Now open your eyes." He said as he sat back down. I opened my eyes again to see that it was a lot dimmer.

"Where am I?" I asked as I starred at both of them.

"You're at the hospital. Do you remember anything?" Matt asked with a hopeful look. I thoguht about it before everything came back to me. I felt tears come to my eyes before the memroies were done. Matt and Tegan both climbed on the bed and wrapped their arms aorund me. Matt was rubbing my shoulders trying to calm me down and Tegan's hands found my hair once again. I started to slowly calm down.

"What all is wrong with me?" I asked noticing my arm and knee.

"They had to go in and place metal screws in your knee to hold it together and you have a fracture in your wrist and have two screw there too. The doctor said that those are in there for good unless they start to come out by themselves. Then you'll have a sugery to remove them."

"How's Aidyn?" I asked tears finding my eyes once again.

"He's prefectly fine. Jimmy's been taking care of him like he was his own son. It's strage I've never seen Jimmy like this." Matt said as he smiled at me.

"Thank god. When can I get out of here?" I asked smiling a bit.

"What is this 20 questions?" Tegan asked laughing.

"Yes now when?" I asked laughing.

"The doctor doesn't even know you're awake." Matt said as he shook his head.

"Then go tell him. I want out of here and I want to hold my baby!" I whinned.

"Yup you can tell you're the younger sister." Tegan said shaking her head.

"Screw you!" I pouted putting my head down, "Five freakn' minutes and she won't let me live it down!"

"Nope! I'll let the doctor know." She said as she closed the door right as the pen I threw at her hit it.

"How much damage did Brandon to her?"

"He just screw up her wrist and a concsion." I nodded before the door opened up again and the doctor walked in being followed by Tegan. He started to check my vitals an ask me to move various body parts before he smiled at Matt.

"Well she seems to be doing fine. I expect her to be able to go home sometime with in the next two days. Nice to see you awake." He said before he walked out.

"I get to go home!" I screamed before hugging Matt.

"In the next two days!" Tegan replied.

"You just have to ruin my fun!" I pouted making Matt laugh.

"Would I be your older sister if I didn't?" She assked with a sly glance.

"By FIVE minutes!" I yelled.
