Wreckage From the Past Haunts Me; Shakes Me to the Bone

“Bring out the beers!” Johnny yelled as the door shut. I smiled sadly up at Jimmy as I heard Papa Gates pull out of the drive way.

“Idiot the beers have been out.” Zacky said as he picked up a beer and threw it at Johnny. Tegan shook her head before pulling Zacky back down to sit next to her.

“Ow!” Jocie yelled suddenly making our heads snap over to her. Matt was there in under a second, immediately rubbing her stomach. Her breath became uneven, but we knew she wasn’t going into labor. Matt was trying to get her breathing back down by blowing air in her face a bit.

“Is she ok?” Brian asked placing a protective hand on Jocie’s shoulder. She reached up and gripped it tight. You could see the blood that her fingernails were making, but Brian’s face never changed from the panicked look.

“Yeah, she gets these really bad pains. The doctor said that something is messed up in her kidney’s but because she’s pregnant there’s nothing we can do right now.” Matt explained as Jocie relaxed. Her breathing became normal and she smiled weakly at us.

“The doctors think that when she was suffering from abuse that he hit something and because of the extra strain on her it’s taking affect now.” Matt said as he kissed her forehead.

“Jocie would you like a water?” I asked as I walked over to her. She nodded before laying her head on Matt’s shoulder. I smiled down at her before walking into the kitchen. I pulled out a water bottle before pulling a straw out of the drawer and walked back into the livingroom.

“I’m ok guys. Just continue with what we were doing. Plus I want to know what Jimmy got for Lusty.” Jocie said as she took the water bottle from me.

“Syn’s probably going to kill me for this, but Lusty if you agree...well read this.” Jimmy said as he handed Lusty an envelop. She looked at him suspiciously before opening it. I watched as she read the letter, not knowing what it said. She suddenly screamed and tackled Jimmy in a huge hug, screaming thank you.

“What did he get you?” Syn asked with his eyebrow raised.

“He booked me a photo shoot with Playboy!” She yelled as she hugged Syn. He glared at Jimmy before smiling.

“Jimmy normally I would kill you, but she’s really happy so I’ll let you live.” Syn said as he hugged her back, “Plus there’s a very good chance of me getting laid tonight.”

“She’s been wanting it since she was like sixteen man.” Jimmy said smiling.

“I know.”

“I made sure all pictures go to you and not in a magazine.” Jimmy added on.

“I love you man!” Brian yelled making us all laugh.

“Damn...I’d love to see what he got the rest of us, but I want to open that bottle of wine!” Johnny said as he ran into the kitchen. We heard a loud crash, before Johnny saying ‘Oops’.

“First he drops a forty. Now he drops one of my wine glasses!” Jimmy yelled as he threw himself back against me, laying down across my lap, “I know those are the ones from France too.”

“We’ll buy some more.” I said laughing as I ran a hand through his hair.

“Hey where’s my present?” He asked as his eyes widened.

“Come on. Guys we’ll be right back ok?”

“No sex while your brother’s here!” Matt said as he glared.

“We’re not having sex. I’m gonna go show him his present.” I said laughing as I dragged Jimmy down the hall. I reached up and untied his tie and wrapped it around his eyes. I leaned up and kissed him lightly on the lips before opening his music room. Grabbing his hand lightly, I brought him into the room where his present stood. I walked him over to the grand piano and laid the hand I was holding on the keys and gently let go. His hand reached up and ripped off the blindfold. I saw a smile spread across his face, making me smile as well. His hands traced the dark wood until they got to the keys, where he pressed down making a tune flow through the room.

“You got me my piano.” He whispered as he looked back at me.

“I missed hearing you play and I knew that you wanted to play again. The look on your face when you saw your piano was as bad as the look you had when Erik ran over your dog back in high school.” I explained still smiling over at him. He walked over to me and kissed me hard on the lips. I smiled into the kiss, feeling him smile as well as I set my hands on his shoulders as his went to my face. He pulled away, placing a kiss on my forehead.

“Thank you so much.” His whispered as he kissed me again. I smiled and kissed him back just as hard. I felt his tongue trace the seems of my lips as he picked me up. I giggled into the kiss and wrapped my legs around his waist. He chuckled slightly as he laced our tongues together. I couldn’t help but moan as he bit down on my lip. He smiled and joined our lips back together.

“Hey Johnny you were right! They are!” Zacky yelled making us break apart. I ignored Zacky and looked up at Jimmy who was smile down at me. He took a step away from the wall making me grip his neck tightly. I heard Tegan laugh as she saw us.

“He never put me down.” I said as he sat down on the couch.

“Ok I want to know what Jimmy got me!” Zacky yelled as he sat down.

“Why don’t you ask Trista what we got you?” Jimmy answered.

“I already gave him his guitar...oh that one!” I said as I remembered the other one. I got up and walked over to the cabinet that was next to the couch. I pulled out four envelopes that held a set of keys. I handed the first one to Matt, the second to Zacky, the third to Johnny and the last one to Brian.

“You didn’t.” Matt said as he held up th keys to his new restored black Pontiac GTO.

“Only the best for you guys.” I said as the rest of the guys got their keys out. I watched as Jimmy got up and opened the door garage, letting the guys go out first before himself. I stared at the girls before shaking my head and getting up as well. The girls followed my lead and walked out to see that their men were staring at their new restored cars. Zacky looked over at me and smiled mouthing ‘Thank You.’ I nodded and smiled as he stared at the Baby Blue 1967 Mercury Cougar. Johnny was sliding his hand down the hood of his Red 1962 Dodge 300. Matt was all dimples as he traced the top of the Pontiac. Brian had a huge smile across his face as he stared at the sight of the 1960 Dodge Phoenix.

“Thank you guys so much.” Brian said as he walked over to me and hugged me.

“You guys are welcome. It was fun shopping for them.” I said laughing.

“Well Trista. I think goes nicely with what I got Jimmy.” Nikki said as she winked. I smiled and nodded. As she hit the button the door opened revealing a slick red 1967 Ford Mustang. His eyes opened wide and he ran over to Nikki and picked her up in a hug.

“You’re gonna pop the belly!” She said as she laughed. Jimmy set her down and rubbed her stomach.

“You’re going to grow up and be taller then your daddy and then you can pick on him just like us ok? Come on kick me if you agree.” He said as he put his head right next to her belly. You could visibly see his head move as she hissed. She reached forward and smacked him hard on the back of his head.

“I just got him calmed down!”

“Him?” I asked as I looked at her.

“We’re not sure yet, but I’m sure it is.” She said as she rubbed the spot where Jimmy’s head had been. He smiled as he rubbed the back of his head and made him way over to me. I smiled and kissed him lightly making several gagging noise go through the room. I glared at the culprit, my older brother before shaking my head.

“Hey I hate to break up your little love feast, but it’s time for the girls to head up to Jimmy’s room to give out more of our presents.” Lusty said with a smile. The guys knew what that meant. We had things we wanted to give to each other that was more of a present for the guys then us.

“See you girls later!” Johnny said as he smiled. We all laughed and nodded at the face he was making.

“Now you see my present to you guys is actually for the guys. I went and asked all of the guys what their favorite thing to see you in was. Most of them responded in something you wore that you misplaced or it was stolen when we were on tour. For Trista, Jimmy said that his favorite thing that you wore was when you were younger. It was a pair of-”

“A pair of cheekie panties that had glow in the dark skulls on them.” I said as I giggled at the memory of why.

“With that giggle I’m not going to ask.” Jocie said as she rubbed her stomach. I laughed and shook my head.

“It’s nothing bad. Ok it kind of is. It’s actually quite sweet.” I explained as I set the underwear on my lap.

“Ok I want to know this.” Nikki said as she raised an eyebrow at me.

“When Jimmy was still homeless, it was storming really bad so he came over and snuck into my room. Well the lights were out and I had been crying cause of my dad. I was freezing cause he had taken all of my clothes and blankets out of my room when I was in the shower. I didn’t even realize that the window had opened until an ice cold had was rested on my shoulder. I didn’t even move though. I was too cold to move. He brushed some hair out of my face and left my room and came back with one of Matt’s blankets. He had striped out of his clothes and laid down with me, getting us both warmed up again and once we were warmed up he went to move away, but I held him in place. Eventually it led to another thing and let’s just say my underwear were on the floor the next morning when I woke up.” I said as I smiled.

“That was the night he popped her cherry.” Tegan said as she laughed. I glared at her making the other girls laugh.

“Oh so is that what the whole “I’m not going anywhere. Good cause my grip is too tight” thing came from?” Jocie asked.

“Yeah. It was what we said to each other.” I said blushing.

“Ok lets continue,” Lusty said as she pulled out a pair of blue polka dot bottoms that laced on the sides and tossed them to me. I laughed before blushing again.

“Next Nikki Johnny said his favorite thing was the peach colored bra and underwear set you used to wear.” she said as she handed Nikki the set. Nikki laughed and shook her head before setting the set next to her.

“I won’t be wearing that for a while.” She said laughing. We all nodded and laughed slightly.

“God that must that be killing Johnny.” Tegan said as she laughed.

“I didn’t say he wasn’t getting any. I just said I couldn’t wear that yet.” Nikki replied laughing.

“So much info I didn’t I want to know!” I said as I rolled off the bed. I hit the floor with a loud thud, bruising my ass.

“Are you ok?” I heard Jimmy yell as he laughed.

“I bruised my ass!” I yelled back. I heard his laughter even louder as I rubbed my ass.

“Wow...That’s horrible.” Jocie said as she shook her head at me.
