A Promise Never Forgotten

Smile Cause Its All Ending Real Soon

William

I spent most of my days just thinking about anything to get my mind off Harmony. I tried to call her a few times, but it seemed like she had gotten a new number.

I regretted ever thinking it was over, it couldn’t be.

Harmony and I are meant for each other, I can feel it when I wake up in the morning, to every step I took.

She was a part of me I couldn’t just forget or leave.

But she just wouldn’t answer.

Lately, I’ve just been in my room and trying to call her, but nothing.

It’s been months now and school started, and still no answer from Harmony.

I walked the hallways and I turned to look at a row of lockers, and there she was.

Harmony was smiling widely at me, like every morning and every time I spent with her.

The cute dimples she had on each side of her cheek, the way her blue-green eyes sparkled, and the way she always stood so straight, everything just brought a smile on my face.

But then she was gone.

I walked to the staircase and she was at the top.

She had a smile on her face and was gesturing for me to hurry up.

As soon as I took another step, she disappeared.

I sighed and tried to think straight, and as I was about to get in my class, there she was at the door way.

She stood on the tip of her toes and opened her arms wide with a huge smirk on her face.

I walked up to her and just when I was about to hug her, she vanished.

Outside, Christine was waiting for me to move away from the door way, “Hey are you alright?”

I turned around to look at her.

The sun from outside had shone right on her and enhanced all her features. I couldn’t help but find her attractive.

If Harmony seemed to have forgotten me, should I really move on?

“Bill you okay?”

I put my attention on Christine and noticed how she called me Bill, just like everyone else.

I smiled, “Yeah I’m great, maybe it’s time for a new start.”

She looked at me worriedly and I just laughed, taking my seat inside and telling myself that this was the right thing to do.

If Harmony never called me back or visited, wouldn’t that mean she’s already moved on?

If she has, there’s no reason for me to be sulking for the rest of my life, and so I’m not going too.

The teacher was talking about something I already studied by myself at home. Since I’ve been alone for awhile, I’ve already memorized and went through all of the textbooks. I knew everything, and should be taken to the next grade, but I didn’t care.

Christine looked like she understood everything the teacher was saying and was writing down practically everything he said, she must be the smart type.

Couldn’t help myself, I tapped her on the shoulder.

She turned to me and smiled flirtatiously and I smiled back gesturing for her with a finger to come closer.

“How about I teach you a few pointers for baseball,” I asked, whispering.

She beamed at the idea and shook her head, as I laughed quietly.

Christine was just what I needed, I wasn’t using her, necessarily, but I would eventually fall for her.

In time.

Harmony

A few months have passed and still nothing from William. He never called, and I just decided one day, it was time I moved on.

These past few months have been great.

The guys were awesome, even though they were much older than me, my mom trusted them.

She met all of them already since they mostly came to my house.

They were coming in through windows!

I really got close to them and even though I hanged out with them so much, I still thought of William, even when I didn’t want too.
I also found out that Frank liked every girl he thought was really pretty, so that explains why he was always so flirtatious, but he didn’t have an actual crush on me.

Mikey and Gerard were the ones I was the closest too.

Gerard would give me piggy back rides and carry me, he always knew how to make me feel like living was so easy and fun.

Mikey, Mikey is just so adorable and kind. Always there for me and so tender, I can always feel so protected and loved when I’m with him.

I couldn’t help but notice a bit tension whenever I hung out with one of the them. Like if I were to hang out with Gerard, Mikey would seem different, and the other way around.

Walking downstairs and slumping on the couch, “Mom I’m tired of waiting for William to call me.”

She looked at me like I was some idiot, “Did you give him our new phone number?”

I looked at her with the same look, “Yeah I gave him the number before we left Chicago.”

She rolled her eyes and smacked her forehead, “I thought you knew, we got a new phone number, I changed it months ago.”

My mouth fell open and I ran to the phone already dialing William’s number, a number I would never forget.

He didn’t forget me, he just didn’t have my number.

There can still be a chance.

Knock Knock

Someone was at the door and my mom kept looking at me, waiting for me to open it. I just kept jumping and pressing the phone tightly to my ear, waiting for William to answer.

My mom huffed and opened the door, smiling at the person.

I didn’t care who was at the door, at this point, not even when I heard the voice.

“She’s just on the phone, you can come in,” my mom said to the person.

“Thanks Ms. Lowaine,” the person said.

My mom had changed her last name back to her maiden name.

They walked up to me and watched me skeptically as I waited for William to answer on the other end.

Finally someone answered, but it wasn’t who I was hoping for.

The voice in the other end sent my heart shattering, and with each piece my eyes weld up with tears.

A girl’s voice answered, “Hello?”

I tensed, “This is Harmony, is William there?”

She cleared her throat and sounded nervous, “Oh, hi Harmony! No sorry he isn’t here right now, his mom let me in, I can leave him a message for you if you want?”

I blinked and let the tears stream down my face, “N-no i-its okay, its not important.”

The person my mom let in looked worried, but I couldn’t see their face from the blurriness.

“Harmony why are you crying. . .” the person whispered, but I didn’t answer back.

The person tried to hug me, but I backed away, back pressed on the wall.

I slowly fell to the floor, still holding the phone, tears spilling from my eyes.

Christine sighed, “Harm-“

I cut her off, afraid of what she might tell me, “U-um b-bye,” I whispered, voice cracking.

Then I hanged up.

I couldn’t believe my ears.

Christine?

Her being in William’s house can mean only one thing, and that means he had already replaced me.

He’s forgotten me and replaced me with Christine!

She was everything a guy would find attractive and perfect, but I couldn’t believe William would just forget me. Was waiting a few years just to hard for him to endure?

Apparently our bond wasn’t as strong as I had thought. Apparently, I was the only one who had fallen for the other.

Apparently, it was over long before it ever had a chance to begin.

Thank you for telling me which team you prefered!
I loved hearing from you guys.
Sadly, you'll never get to know who wins her heart until the very last chapter.
She may end up with this guy or this guy, but the last chapter will make you scsream.
It'll probably be the longest chapter.
But anyway thats awhile from now.
She may get William, or Mikey, who knows maybe Frank, even maybe our beloved Gerard?
I honestly don't know where I am going with this haha.
I thought that William should be the main male lead, but now I'm not sure.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see. . .

oh and by the way the chapters will be like this more often, like in one chpater there will be different points of views. just so you can have a better understanding of whats going on inside theselove struck minds
