Even If I Say

Where was I going? My dorm, maybe? He knows where that is… but he can’t get it in… no Hermione could. I found myself sitting in the Great Hall, maybe one table away from where we normally sit. I saw Harry actually walk towards me, like nothing was wrong, like I didn’t just kiss him. I bent my head down a turned the other way, hoping he wouldn’t see me. Or my face at least.

“Ara?”

I could feel myself roll my eyes, “What?”

“What, uh… what just happened?”

I kept my face from him. “I kissed you.”

“Yeah… why?” I rolled my eyes and finally looked at him.

“I wonder,” I murmured under my breath.

He sat in the exact seat next to me.

“You like me?” He said it as more of a fact, but I could hear slight question in his voice.

I chuckled. “Yeah, yeah you could say that.”

“What else could I say?”

“That I love you.” I didn’t realize the words were coming from my mouth for a good 10 seconds.

I looked at him, to see him wide-eyed.
