I stared at the grapefruit across the room and threw my notebook at it.

Stupid candle made me stay out in the cold.

I was bored, but that changed when I got a phone call.

"Hello," I answered.

"Tati! I've got some bad news about Zach. He got into a car crash on the way home," Zach's parents called and told me.

It was shocking to hear from his parents.

They hated him.

"Um...okay. What hospital is he at?"

"He's at St. Bernard's."

"I'll be there soon."

I hung up and instantly called Andy.

"Hey, I need a ride. Something bad happened."
