As My Tears Turn Red

'What did I just do?'I expected a smart-Alec reply from Blaize, but none came.

'Oh my god, what the hell did I just do?' This time I got a reply, but not from Blaize.

'What happened? Blaize came down smirking and it sounds like your freaking out.” Si sounded so concerned.

'I kissed him' I paused hearing footsteps, 'but I don't know why.' The door opened and in walked Si.

He plopped down next to me on the bed.

“He must have had you under his mind control.” He looked into my eyes.

I turned away and nodded, “But he didn't try as hard with his spell as last time, his eyes weren't orange for nearly as long.”

“That's because with out you noticing it his spell works long term, slowly building up so he doesn't have to use it anymore. Your body and part of your mind will just listen to, or better yet know, what he wants.” His voice was solemn.

“Oh.” Was all I could say at first, “So what do I do?”

He turned my head towards him, “Don't worry I won't let that happen.”

We talked for a while longer, until Si was sure Blaize would be arriving soon.

I still didn't trust Si, but maybe he could be my ticket out of here.
“Hey baby.” Blaize walked through the door.

I didn't even look at him.

He cleared his throat angrily, “I said, Hey baby.”

I didn't look up, but decided to answer, “Hi honey.” I tried saying it sweetly, but it came out strained.

He walked up to where I was sitting and slapped me hard.

I touched my cheek and looked at him.

“When I come home, you acknowledge me and mean it.” He pulled me up sharply by my wrist.

“Now, give me a hug.” I gave him a hug and suddenly that want to make him happy came back.

“I'm sorry”, I said still hugging him, “I'm just a bit out of it today.”

I pulled back slightly, my arms around his waist, and gave him a peck on the lips.

That trance-like feeling went away and I stood frozen.

My jaw dropped at what I had just did and Blaize smirked.

I tried to move away, but he held me there.

I squirmed and he brushed his lips against mine teasing me.

Despite my minds protests, I followed his lips and kissed him.

He kissed back, and smirked into it.

I pulled away, and this time he let me escape his grasp.

I dropped onto the bed, sitting like a limp rag doll.

'What's wrong with me?' Two voices answered me, both unknown to each other.

'Don't worry, I'll get you out, just give me some time.' Told Si.

'Nothing baby, just relax, don't fight it.' Came from Blaize.

Blaize plopped down next to me on the bed and turned my head to look at him.

He leaned forward slowly, testing me, and I closed the gap quickly crashing my lips on his.

'Wait stop, no I don't want this.' Half of my mind went against my actions.

He once again smirked into the kiss.

Then he picked me up and placed me on his lap.

“Your all mine baby.” He said into my ear as he stroked my hair, and I was disgusted.

The only thing that the trance has left on me is his kisses, anytime he brings his lips near mine, I need to kiss him.

Blaize leaned down to me, trailing kisses along my face.

Forehead, Nose, left corner of my mouth, right corner of my mouth.

I tried to fight it, but ended up kissing him anyway.

This is the way it went for a few days, until something else happened.

Blaize had been teasing me again, enjoying the way I longed for his kisses, and moved to get them.

Like a dog following a trail of dog treats.

He was about to leave for his work, whatever that was, and kissed me goodbye.

But I didn't want him to leave.

“Wait,” I called, “Don't go.”

He turned back to me, “I have to go baby, I'll be back soon.”

“But I don't want you to leave. I love you.” I gasped as soon as the words were out, and slapped a hand over my mouth.

“What did you say?” Blaize was smirking triumphantly.

I shook my head, with my hand still over my mouth, not trusting myself to talk.

“Really? Because I'm pretty sure you said, you loved me.” He moved closer.

I took a step back and shook my head again.

He walked right up to me.

“Lilith”, He sang, “Why is it that you don't want me to leave?” He moved my hand away and held them both in his.
I bit my lip and shrugged.

“Go on, you can tell me.” He mocked.

I bit my lip harder.

He leaned in, his lips inches from mine, eyes boring into mine.

My eyes darted to his lips, but then back up.

“Lilith,” When he talked his lips brushed mine, “Why” He pecked my lips between each word, “don't you want me to leave?”

I couldn't help it, my body fell into a trance.

I kissed him back deeply, letting his tongue roam my mouth.

“I love you.” I breathed, my mind crying and cursing the whole way.

After a few more deep kisses, and a few more times of Blaize making me say, that I loved him, he left.

I fell to the floor sobbing.

'How could I tell him that?' I asked myself.

'How could I break?'

“It's not your fault.” I looked up at Si who was standing in the slightly open doorway.

He slipped in, and closed it behind him.

“But forget that for now.” He offered me a hand, “Now it's time to escape.”
I grabbed his hand and let him help me up.

“This way.” He pulled me out of the room and out of a surprisingly small house rather fast, before I could take anything in.

“It will be easier if we go the human way.” He explained as he led me to some shiny sports car.

And off he led me to a currently unknown destination, but hey I was sure it was better than here.

As we drove I was silent.

Si tried talking at first, but I just shrugged him off.

He soon gave up.

I was thinking of what Blaize would do when he got home.

Would he automatically search for me?

Would he use mind-reading or his hypnotic powers?

We pulled into a small motel parking lot.

It was pretty grimy, the kind of place you could lay low for a while.

“Come on.” Si opened my door and guided me up to the front office of the motel.

We got a key to room 13.

It was small and only had one small bed and a floor lamp.

Si said I could have the bed and he would stand watch.

I lay down trying not to think of the gross, stained sheets.

I close my eyes and saw the face of an angry Blaize.

“Where. Did. You. Go?” His face demanded.

I opened my eyes in fear.

'Where are you?' His voice asked again.

'Ummm...' I started scared glancing at Si looking out a small window.

'Answer the stupid question!'

'Si...' It slipped in my mind along with a picture of my surroundings.

'Alright baby listen to me,' He began,'Stand up.' I stood.

'Good now walk towards the door.'

“Where are you going?” Si asked confused.

“I don't know.” I managed to get out before Blaize could stop me.

“What?” Si was near me in a flash.

'I didn't tell you to say that.'

'Sorry.' It came out scared.

'Alright baby, push him while he's caught off guard.'
“Lilith, are you okay?”

I pushed him, shaking my head and trying to stop myself the whole way.

Not being ready for the shove, he stumbled backwards.

I then darted out the door.

'Turn left.' He gave me directions until I came to a highway.

'Wait a second.' My feet seemed stuck to the ground.

I tried to shift and run, but my feet wouldn't move.

A black car pulled up to me.

The back door opened and out came Blaize.

He walked over to me, scooped me up, and swung me into the car, all in one motion.

I screamed.

“Shush.” He climbed in after me. “Drive.” He shouted to the driver, who I could see was Derrick.

“Hello baby.” Blaize said pulling me to him.

“Blaize.” I grimaced.

He leaned down and kissed me, causing me to kiss back, but I soon pulled away.

He smacked me.
“Don't pull away.” He glared, “Now kiss me.”

“No.” I moved farther from him.

He snapped his fingers, causing my scar to burn.

I fell forward into him, whimpering and wriggling in pain.

He stroked my hair and stopped the burning, and I collapsed into him.

He continued stroking my hair and I cried.

“You know I wish you didn't make me hurt you. I wish you would just obey.”
He murmured.

I just lay there letting him stroke my hair, and say non-comforting things in a comforting tone.
