As My Tears Turn Red

Risk reached down and scooped me up.

I curled into him as he held me in one arm, the other hand on my neck.

Risk smiled down at me, one of those genuinely happy smiles, and Kay glared darkly at him.

“So what's the plan?” I asked.

“You hide and we'll fight.” Ty stated.

“Good idea. Basic yet it might work.” Risk added.

“You can't possibly agree with that can you?” Kay started.

'Always an argument.'

'What is baby?'

'Nothing.'

“I don't see you coming up with anything better.” Risk started walking towards the bedroom with me.

“Where are you going?”

“Hiding her.”

“Where?”

“The closet.” I giggled.

I couldn't help it the way with each question Kay got more annoyed and Risk was still completely calm.

He set me down in the closet and went to go back out of the room to everyone else.

“Wait, Risk?” I called.

“Yeah?”

“Will you be alright?” I didn't want him getting hurt.

“You have a whole group of werewolves and vampires coming after you and your worried about me?” I nodded and he came a knelt in front of me.

“I'll be fine.” He leaned towards me resting his forehead on mine.

“You promise?”
“I promise.” He leaned in an lightly kissed me on the lips.

He went to walk away but I pulled him back for a slightly deeper kiss, that was passionate but still sweet.

“Be safe.” He nodded, closed me in the closet and walked away.

I sighed.

'What's going to happen now?'

'I'm gonna come get you.'

'No Risk will stop you.' The image of us kissing flashed through my mind, just the kiss, the background fuzzy.

'How dare he!' Blaize yelled in my mind.

'I'm sorry.' I automatically apologized, afraid from his harsh anger.

'I don't blame you baby. I mean you can't help it that your gorgeous, but he should know better. I'm gonna kill him.'

'But-'

'No buts'. I'm here now and I'm heading straight for him.'

'Uh-oh.'
