"Are Katie and Wil dating?" Jake asked glancing through the kitchen to see Wil whisper something in Katie’s ear. She blushed and giggled right afterwards.

"I don't think they are, she says she isn't, but I think they might be near friends with benefits."
I noticed she was wearing a low cut shirt and the jeans that I walked in on her modeling for
Wil when he asked her to model her underwear. She didn’t really need to catch Wil’s attention, so I don’t know why she was wearing them.

"So you're saying their fuck buddies." Petey said

"They better fucking not be fuck buddies"

Katie and Wil looked over at me after my outburst confused. Katie rolled her eyes and turned
on the TV while wil walked over to us, his real not-girly friends.

"Who are you calling fuckbuddies?" Wil asked.

"No one" Jake said covering for me

"Right" he rolled his eyes.

"What’s the deal with you and Katie?" Petey asked

"Best Friends, that's it. Why?"

"You two seem really close" I said eyeing him suspiciously still

"Meh, not any closer than I am with you guys, it just shows differently because she's a girl"

I opened the refrigerator door and got everyone drinks. My mom came back from the store
with a bag in her hand.

“Katie I got your” she noticed we were all standing in the doorway. “Stuff that you needed”

Katie came bounding into the room and my mom handed her the plain white paper bag.
She shot me an odd look then went upstairs holding the bag.

“What the hell is up with her?” I asked no one in particular as we headed up the stairs.

“I don’t know, she’s acting like Kayla, so I’d say she’s being a girl.” Petey said

“Wil, any help?” I asked

“No clue whatsoever.”

“So I heard you’re going to prom with Kayla” jake said sprawling himself on a couch in front
of the TV.

“Yeah” I responded

“Anything going on between you two?”

“No, why”

“Well I mean it is prom and all. Did you get your tux already?”

“My mom took me awhile back so that I could match Kayla.”

“What color?” Wil asked interrupted.

“Red”

“Ah nice” Wil mumbled

“So there’s nothing going on between you two?” Jake asked again.

“No Jake, we’re just friends.”

“So you don’t get to kiss her neck softly as your hand slides up her dress and play with her
probably red garter before taking it off with your teeth with your teeth?” Jake said slowly, trying to make it sound sexy.

“DUDE I’M RIGHT HERE” Petey screamed as we all looked at him. Wil giggled silently in the
chair.

“No Jake, I don’t even know if she’s getting a garter, and we’re just friends, that’s all we’ll
ever be.”
