Not a bad idea. I was a little put off by the lead-in as the phrase about "retaining your dignity" personal felt like a slut-shaming remark against those who might choose to show up half-naked (like me). I thought the ideas were good, I just expected to see a superhero costume for some reason.July 29th, 2013 at 05:47pm

These are all great ideas! I appreciate that they are all quite simple and inexpensive. There were a few grammatical errors I noticed but nothing major, and I like your tone. Thank you for the tutorial, now I just need an excuse to dress upJuly 11th, 2013 at 08:02pm

@ lipslam
Well it's not like I had the ground breaking idea anyways. I'm sure lots of girls have dressed up as her and it was probably even more fun with four in one party! :D Thanks for the comment!July 7th, 2013 at 04:31pm -
Rosie the Riveter is a pretty common one. I know you said you've never seen "her" at a costume party, but at the last Halloween party I attended, there were four girls who showed up dressed as her. It was complete coincidence, and they all looked a tiny bit different, but it was obvious who they were and they had fun throwing out her iconic pose together all night.
These are some great ideas. Thanks for the article! :)July 6th, 2013 at 04:51am -
@ synthian.
I know. I should have reread it a few times more for grammar errors... :/July 1st, 2013 at 12:09am -

Awesome tutorial! Shows that girls don't have to be decoration or eye candy at costume parties, but portraits of bad assitude.June 28th, 2013 at 08:35pm
Sorry for any inconveniences!
