Very easy. Download them from dafont.com, and find the file in your downloads folder. Open it and run the TrueType file content, then click Install. And then run GIMP. Type the font name in the box, and it'll work.

It's perfectly okay! Sorry if this isn't the place to ask, but I'm really unimpressed by gimp's fonts, is it easy to download them?

I tried GIMP once and I was oh my God awful I couldn't figure out how to make a circle. Maybe this will help.
