Hide.my.fate Online they say you can substitute sour cream with plain yogurt, but I've never tried it. I believe it's said to be too wet, so it needs to be strained with cheesecloth before using it in the recipe. It's worth a try though.
But there are other recipes out there, that don't use sour cream, you may want to try - like this one, which uses 3x as much cream cheese and an extra egg. It'll probably be much richer and a little sweeter and a little less tart.
These are so delicious-looking and sounding. Oh! Is there anything I can substitute the sour cream for? I'm not too fond of sour cream (though I probably wouldn't be able to taste it once it's baked).
