I thank Eddie Izzard for my inability to hear about Hitler without going through his sketch in my head. "So Hitler, yes...he wound up in a ditch, covered in petrol, and on fire. Which is fun. I mean, which is funny. Because he was a mass-murdering f*ckhead."
But anyway. As much as we don't like it, Hitler is part of our history. A less enjoyable part, certainly, but that doesn't give us the right to ignore it.
well i think that the person who beheaded hitler is obviously pro attention
I agree sahina on the fact that the artist probably took an insane amount of time on it.
but he voiced his opinion so yeah...
i dont know where to stand on this one

btw very informative
no questions :]
I think it is rude for who ever ripped the wax Hitler's head off. The artist worked on that for a long time and it is disrespectful to destroy it. Sure Hitler was a bad person but he changed the world and we shouldn't for get that because if we did forget we would probably experience something like the Holocaust again.
Well to start, I think it was kind of ridiculous to put a Hitler figure in a museum- especially in Germany. It was probably just to create publicity.
Whether the damage the man did was right or wrong is a matter of perspective.
In my opinion, even if he was offended by the figure, that doesn't give him the right to destroy it.
Obviously I don't like Hitler but I think it was rude of whoever did that to the wax-Hitler. The artist who made the figure took a lot of time doing it.
