    That's just terrible.

I feel for the girl. I really do. She sounded like she had some emotional issues. I mean, she was an idiot for getting so attached to someone she didn't know, and later, for not getting her parents or police actively involved in this, but after all is said and done, she isn't to blame.

That woman deserves some serious payback. The community needs to rise up and egg her house or something. They need to make her life miserable. Sometimes, you can't just rely on karma to get the job done. :(

What disgusts me the most if that the family resposible for making her feel that bad about herself hasn't even had the heart to apologize. It's sickning.

What shocks me the most about that is that they haven't even apologized for driving that poor girl to commit suicide.
If I had a mother like that I'd move out and pretend I don't know her, how can she possibly sleep at night?!
Hope they go to jail so they can be tormented for the rest of their lives for causing her to kill herself.
Honestly the people in this world...

I can understand why parents might want to make fake myspace profiles and be friends with their kids, to keep an eye on them.
But doing that to a kid is just sick in so many ways, admittedly girls that age are naieve and fall in and out of 'love' easily, but her friend's mother practically killed a 13yr old girl and that disgusts me.

    This is sickening.
I hope the people that did this rot.

How do people get the nerve to do something like this? And not apologize afterwards.?
    Pisses me off.

It's disgusting that someone can be so cruel, and not take into account of other people's feeling. I do hope that nothing like this will ever happen again, although honestly I think it's wishfull thinking...

No offense to "emily" but there are hundreds of kids who have myspace that are under the age limit. A bunch of my friends have myspace that are under the age limit. It's a tragedy that this happened. my heart goes out to Megan's family and i hope that the ppl who created "josh" pays for wat they did

This is trulely sad. I live in that area somewhat, and when my friend saw it on the news he came and told me and I started bawling in school. This is compltely heartbreaking. I can't even begin to imagine what that woman was thinking...

Shit, you'd think that a mother would be a little more respectful and responsible for her actions. I think it was completely innopropriate and that the family should apoligize immediately!
I'd like to direct my middle finger vigorously at the place that the mother lives.
And my condolences to Megan's family. Poor sweet heart <333

That is just wrong. I know many mothers want to protect their daughters and to make them happy, but at the cost of another's life? It's despicable.

Also, at 13 MySpace is illegal; so the parents of Megan can't have been looking at her internet too closely...

My heart goes out to her parents and any siblings she ahd, and I hope that horrible woman apologises soon!

That's really messed up. It would be one thing if another teen had done what that woman did, but she was an adult. That's just ridiculous. How could she live with herself after that? How could she expect her daughter to have any respect for her after she caused the death of her friend? I can't possibly understand what would possess a parent to do somethinig like that. So what if the kids were fighting? They were teenage girls, that's what they do. I didn't see anything about charges being pressed against the mom who prented to be "Josh Evans." She should definitely be charge with something. She caused the death of a thirteen year old girl.
