Rest in peace, kid. Oh my God.
I bet they've got rid of that dog now 0.o

Maybe the kid was messing with it, poking it and everything.
    Lucky my dog's so harmless.

I think this really sucks as I used to have two rottweilers and them were as soft as a cuddly toy, they wouldnt hurt anyone.

But why would the grandmother leave the house when there were little children there and a dangerous dog in the garden. It's just stupid

This is a sad story, indeed. Though, I wouldn't say anyone was at fault (the dog had no history of violence, the children were too young to know what they were doing, and the babysitter was occupied and unaware), I do think that animals should be watched, especially around little kids.

That is truly sad, it helps me alot though cause my granma has two rottweilers and they're both just like that dog. i found it a bit ironic.

    That's extremely sad. :\

Most people who get dogs get them when they are a little older from what I have witnessed and been aware of, so the dog may have had a history with its previous owner where he was either trained to be aggressive or treated in an aggressive manner.

You can't blame the dog though. Nor can you blame the owners, unless they abused him (or her).

    Rest in Peace, Archie-Lee.

although we will probably never know if the dog was being pestered, i wondered if that led to an attack?
