Yeah Rebekah has a point, how could a Elmo doll randomly start saying "Kill James" It would have to have picked it up from someone saying ether "Kill James" or even just the word Kill becasue it already knows the word "James" you never know, it could also have maybe heard it from a T.V. you never no..................god those furbys are evil, I had a sleepover at a friends house and they had one, they had it in there crawspace that was behind the wall, so all Night it was talking, I swear I wanted to run out of the house screaming.... it was saying things like "I WANNNNNA Play", "I know where you are" and everything >.<

Mrs. Melting Crayons, you're right - and stated EXACTLY what I was thinking. The people doing this essay really should see past what Elmo is saying, see it through to where he's LEARNED it. If he picks up phrases he commonly hears, then abuse is a very good possibility...although it's really bad for the child, it should then be said that the company is not to blame, but the family, and hopefully if abuse IS the case then this exposure will get him the help he needs.

Reading the article, its scary as fuck. But then I listen to it, and even though that horror is still there, its a little funny. I imagined a low droning muttering over and over, killjameskilljameskilljames.

But that Elmo says, "Kill? James?"

Ha! Holy motherfucker that is scary shit right there! I would sue if I that were my kid, who would want their little boy repeating that? Its kind of gruesome to think, but I hope Elmo is all talk and no show. Get that toy out of that house.
