okaaay, the people who run schools are so stupid. skittles?! =X what are they helping to prevent him from buying skittles illegaly when he is 23 and going to jail. yeah... right. so stupid.
You know, I understand that there is a difference between government rights and school rights, but when you're REQUIRED to at least get your education at a public school until 17, then the fucking rights of the people better be protected. If parents are so afraid about their kid getting fat by eating sweets (since there are other ways of gaining weight, which sucks), then how about they TEACH THEIR DAMN KIDS SELF CONTROL? Obviously, the only person to blame is the kid for making the choice to eat candy. But to make it a school rule and punish EVERYONE is stupid.
These rules are going too far; this is not a god damn dictatorship, and they need to establish that.
For a story about school's being pieces of shit with their rules...
I once got dress coded for wearing a jean jacket with a line of colorful little soda tops on a safety pin attached to the pocket. What the hell?
Seriously though. A lot of these school districts have crossed the line. Especially when it gets to the point where they tell you what you may and may not do to your own fucking body/hair/etc. etc. I understand when kids decide to dress half naked, but I mean, come on now...
You can thank these fucking over protective parents for this. The schools are scared they'll get sued if the skittles have something in them, I'm sure.
But that kind of punishment for it? Come on now...
That's just really sad......
Wow, skittles?
I mean, we sell candy, gum, brownies, vitamin water....
And whatever the hell else we have for lunch all the time....
And I thought my school had stupid rules >.<
that is just amazingly daft!!! personaly i've stopped eating any mars candy because of the animal testing ( http://www.marscandykills.com/ ) but suspending a kid for buying candy off someone is a little f**ked up
lmfao. this is hilarious.
at my school last week, kids got in trouble for selling/buying weed.
they got suspended for 2 days. thats only one more day that the kid got for buying skittles. WTF?!
Im pretty sure they didnt get in trouble with the police either.
(i live in canada, by the way. i'm guessing its a smidgen different here)
