This is so horrible. Now Pink Floyd won't ever tour again, for sure. Not that I blame them. I wonder how Roger Waters feels about this...

*sadness* I just walked downstairs when I heard this and told my Ma, and she looked like she was gonna cry, even though she already knew. I don't get why someone that has no talent can't die, but those that are amazing (i.e. Richard, John Bonham, Syd Barrett, Freddie Mercury, Dimebag Darrell, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, etc.) die so young.

RIP Rick. You'll be missed more than you can imagine

Why do all the good artists die for like no good reason - like Richard and Freddy Murcury - while stars taht have no reason or talent are still alive???

He was a huge fan and saw them in concert when they played in Comiskey Park in...'78 I think it was.

Aww, this is really sad. I love Pink Floyd. He was truely a genius. There definitely isn't going to be anyone else like him ever.

It was on the radio at 6:04am and when I heard it, I bolted out of bed and actually cried.

I was watching the wall when I read this. My family is a huge Pink Floyd fan (me, my dad and my brother, my aunt too I think), we were going to go and see them if they came where I lived too.

I cried so much when I heard. I've grown up listening to Pink Floyd and he's one of my absolute heros and I couldn't believe it when I heard.
