    I love Tim Burton; I think he'll do a great job. He's good with surreal.
    Johnny Depp, though... hmm. I hope he does the Hatter justice. He's a good actor though, hopefully he can diversify enough and make it work. With Tim's vision though, it'll be good.

    Tim Burton would do a decent Alice In Wonderland; he's not my favourite director but he's good at the surreality. Not too sure about Depp as the Mad Hatter though, given the parts he has previously played, ie. - mostly the misunderstood or over-sensitive characters - I think of the Hatter as witty and offbeat, rather than misunderstood, and I can't imagine him in the part.

    I'd rather see American McGee's Alice...here's hoping that Tim would take some inspiration from that. I guess my hopes were dashed that they were the same film, though :/ I love Tim, but that Alice would be even more PERFECT for him!

    I love Tim Burton, he's one of my favorites.
    As is Johnny Depp.
    So this movie is going to be good I can tell.
    And if anyone could make this movie over the top fantastic I can trust Burton to do so.

    anyone else notice that Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are always in his movies?! i mean yea, Helena is his wife or girlfriend or whatever, and Johnny Depp(who is gorgeous!) is like his best friend, it's still weird. lol this oughta be great!!!!

    My friend told me about this in school. I got SO excited :D
    & of course I'm not surprised that Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are in it. It just wouldn't be a Tim Burton movie without those two <3
    Can't wait to see Depp take on the role of the Mad Hatter though, for real, ahaha.
