    At least now she can cut her nails and no one will say anything. Or if they do she could always say something like "The accident was horrific. My life -- my nails -- were ruined. And I just want to forget this. Forever. So I cut my nails."

    I don't think she loses her ranking until someone beats that length..
    I mean, if someone had a world record for the longest time sitting upside down or something, just 'cause they sit upright at some point doesn't mean they lose the record.
