i love crocheting n_n* ~
not knitting though.
knitting takes longer. crochet holds my interest way longer than knitting does.
knitting requires more yarn for projects
in short it costs a lot more than being more costly than crocheting.
the only thing knitted i finished was a vest, and i had to redo one side 5 times because of slip ups. not fun <_<
i can fix something crocheted, knitting is harder to fix DX
i'm good at hats, bags, sleeves, tank tops, and skirts.
then there are the blankets of course ^_^

I love crocheting.

By the way, "To Crochet or Not To Crochet" is a statement, not a question. Therefore, no "?".

I think you're doing a great thing. Many young people have no idea about these crafts. I knit, crochet, embroider and I make my own jewlery from beads etc. It helps me to relax. You can even knit and crochet with beads. I still have to learn how to knit with beads but I enjoy crocheting doilies with beads.

I knit.

I find it very relaxing. :tehe:

I bought this knitting pattern book by Jake Henzler. It's got patterns for little animals and things. They're so cute. And they're v easy to knit as well.

I know how to crochet a little -- things like chains and scarfs -- but it is very cool and very relaxing.

Loved the article, by the way. Very well written and original.

I used to be really into crocheting before my life got too bust for it. It really is a nice relaxing activity to let your mind wander.

DIY for the win dude.
If you have the ability to learn to make your own stuff, from basic necessities to decorative clothing, you should totally do it.
Stop depending on mass production and Do It Yourself, yeah.
Yarnboming is cool but it looks SO hippie <.<
