Also, it's not a big deal that they are celebs and getting cancer. It's that they can make a difference. Almost every single celeb that has done something like this or has had cancer, has donated money to cancer reasearch and has spent time with young kids with cancer.

I didn't watch this, but I think it's an excellent thing. Some people haven't had a family member or close friend have cancer, and to show people what cancer patients and their families go through could raise awareness on the subject and maybe more people will fight for a cure now that they see what extent it can go to.

Cancer sucks. Truly, it does. I feel awful for her.

But my mom has had breast cancer for years and she didn't get a documentary based on her.

@greeenhaze: Of course she's making money off of this. From what I understand, though, she's donating it all to a cancer research charity or something like that.

I definitely agree with the first part of your comment, though. I don't understand why it's "such a big deal" when celebrities get cancer when there are millions of other people who suffer from it every day too.

Why does she get a movie made about her and not the thousands or millions of other cancer patients? And is she making money off of this? Is she getting rich?
