Avril Lavigne And Deryck Whibley Split Up - Comments

I kind of expected them to break up... But honestly, I thought it'd be a little bit longer.

Avril may technically be more successful, but Deryck is much more talented than her, in my opinion.

That's too bad about their break up, though.

Celebrity marriages never seem to last, but it is still a sad thing to see their marriage end. At least they are splitting on what seems to be good terms. The fact that they are mature enough to not snipe at each other through all of this makes me wish the best for the both of them. If they can stay friends through this, I think it would be all the better for them.

I adore the music they both make so I just hope they do what makes them happy.

I figured something like this was bound to happen between him and her. They said she would party every night with other guys that sure weren't Deryck. I'm honestly glad it ended now then in the future when they had little kids or something, it'd be difficult for them to go through.

Aw this sucks! I really thought they made a cute couple...but celeb couples never work out especially when marrying that young T_T

Hopefully they'll remain in contact--like as a friends or something.
I mean . . . sometimes, being friends shouldn't be more then that and I guess they realized that.
And plus, Avril, she's young and has years ahead of her to settle in before she decides to remarry and all of that.
Oh well, their still both amazing, good artists :)

Celebs never make it. I only know...2 celebs that have stayed together until their death. I'm sure there are more, but 99% of celebrities won't make it. That's just how it is.

I haven't heard anything about them in ages, but this is sad as.

I was kinda expecting this.
But this marriage has helped her grow in maturity, and herself. Hopefully she knows who she is and what she really wants now.

I wish them both happiness.
