I think Bamboozle was totally worth standing in disgusting heat for. Stereo Skyline has been and still is my current band obsession and I was stoked that I finally got to meet them.

I agree, I wasn't expecting much of Boys like girls, but five minutes into the set, I was jumping and singing with everyone. I just HAD to get a recording of Thunder, as that is one of my favourite songs of theirs.

FTSK...I absolutely, positively LOVE them. They were amazing, and I got to hear their old songs, which probably made me the happiest girl on earth.

I can't even describe All time low. They had to cut songs because of technical difficulties, but still were amazing. One of my favourite bands.

Good Charlotte and Third eye blind = boss.

LMFAO wasn't that good. Just saying. ;)
One of the best days of my life!

I remember seeing Boys Like Girls in concert about a year ago and they really blew me away. Like you, I wasn't expecting much, but they really knew how to create a fun atmosphere by pumping up the crowd. I'm going to go check out Cady Groves right now :)

I have one bit of criticism. The bands that were first and all...how you were saying you couldn't believe that they were up there...etc...I kind of felt that you didn't really give them the credit you think that they deserved, it seemed you were more focused portraying their looks rather than the music they made.

I also think that you could have gone so more in depth about the festival and talk about the bands and stuff. Like...Simple Plan and Good Charlotte? How did they manage to get in it? They haven't released records in a wee while, is this the beginning of more stuff from them..etc. And you also didn't even pay much focus on the band you went to see.

I agree that this would probably have been better as a journal, unless of course you go into it and just give everyone the whole package deal.

This should have been a journal.

I really, really had fun when I went in St. Louis. Only bad thing - All Time Low couldn't play because it was a Six Flags show. All Time Low and Forever The Sickest Kids are my two favorite bands, so I was bummed. But I still got to see Forever The Sickest Kids, so that was great. I was really happy that Good Charlotte played mostly old songs, because really, I haven't been into the new Good Charlotte. I don't necessarily NOT like their new music, I just haven't been listening to it. But my ten year old self obsessed with Good Charlotte phase came back out and I sung along to every song they played, except for the brand new one they haven't released yet, obviously. It was amazing, and three weeks later, I'm still peeling a little bit from the sunburn. It was worth it, definitely. (:

"And I have to give a shout out to Streaker Records here. Props to you boys for taking a huge stamp and stamping half the girls there, including myself, in inappropriate places. You guys have guts. And because of that they sold so much crap that no one even wanted." i have to agree with this you couldn't go into that tent and not buy something or get stamped like 4 or 5 times. but it was fun

I went! :D It was great. We had Paramore, Ke$ha, Drake, Escape the Fate, etc. The screaming fangirls on my side were for All Star Weekend. I had to battle them for signatures for my friends. And later, I had the opportunity to wait in line for 2 hours to receive signatures from Asking Alexandria.(not my idea, though) Despite that, it was really freakin awesome.

Bamboozle was the concert I've been waiting to see for months and I went ot it in San Antonio. Stereo Skyline didn't make it, and All Time Low got banned because Alex loves his fans enough to fight security D8. It was still pretty rad. I loved the Second Stage bands ('unknown' bands). Best bands ever. And First stage bands were pretty crazy.

    Best day of my life.
And Best time I ever had at six flags.

Roadshow was amazing. I also left early, because LMFAO was playing last and they're kind of annoying...

what city did you see it in because that was almost my exact line-up except after good charlotte it was third eye blind, then LMFAO, boys like girls and lastly all time low. ok so it was only the first three lol. i didn't really ever listen to FTSK but they were alright, loved simple plan, good charlotte and boys like girls, and third eye blind was good as well. the only LMFAO song i knew was shot and my friend i left before atl. but i liked your review, i didn't get burned too badly but it was 92 in philly where i saw it.

eh, I think this years roadshow isn't worth it. Last year's was much better. I like your review though and I think you should maybe check out the Van's warped tour because more of the popular bands are playing like Eyes Set to Kill and all
