I wish people realized that pretty much EVERY artist uses touch-ups and auto-tune on vocals. Sure, some may use it more than others in order to achieve a certain sound -a sound that is, in fact, very popular right now, therefore it'd be rather silly not to use it. Anyways, auto-tune doesn't mean anything. If you listen to the lyrics, Lil' Wayne is amazing at provoking emotions and is able to connect to many, many people.
I, for one, am very excited upon hearing this news. I enjoy Lil' Wayne, I think he is a great artist and, as Sisky stated, not all of his songs are about sexing up women -some lyrics are so much deeper than that.
Amazing article, 'can't wait until Christmas to hopefully get a hard copy. :)
I really respect Weezy. He's had his fair share of screw-ups, but he's such a talented writer. I don't think people realize how intelligent he actually is. If you read certain lyrics, they're talking about so much more than alcohol, girls, and cranking soulja boys. He's insanely clever, too. Can't wait for this album. Good job on the article(:
