I'd rather they just focused on bringing out a new album than a side project, tbh. :S

Artists sometimes are forced to make these kind of side projects as an escape. Maybe they want to create different music that their fans wouldn't like and they are aware of it. All I can say is that they should hold true to themselves and create whatever they want. After all the artist is the one that creates.

I love Green Day, but if I don't get an "American Idiot" followup this year, I'm going to go on a rampage!

Oh that would be so weird!!!! I couldn't imagine having to WORSHIP a band call The Foxboro Hot Tubs, like I worship Green Day. Lol. Is their new album really due in 2008???

Maybe foxboro hot tubs are Green Day, maybe they aren't. But we'll nwvwe know until they iether slip up or admit it. If it is them, they are doing this band, the network and other side bands and events such as clothing lines and fashion lines. They have put off releasing their album a few times now, maybe they are too scared or to proud to admit that they don't want to be this band anymore that's why they are pursuing other oppertunities.

That's my theory, I may be called a liar or something for actually thinking this against a good band that many, many people like. But I find it odd how they keep putting anything concerning Green Day off.
