Ooh, this made me more excited for her album :) I miss her, to be honest! But when I heard "What the Hell" I felt a lot better - I almost thought she stopped making music, haha. She hasn't changed her attitude, which I love, but I can tell she's successfully keeping up with music's evolution over the years. It still works for her though. /ramble

Love the article, by the way :D

This is a good article; it was very informative and made me pretty excited for the new release.

"What the Hell" is so flippin' catchy. TBDT, while it was fun, didn't shiver my timbers as much as Let Go or Under My Skin did, but I'm looking forward to Goodbye Lullaby, definitely. :D

    Ooh, I can't wait for this. :)

I was an Avril Lavigne fan back in my preteen/early teen years and I've listened to The Best Damn Thing quite a lot. I like how she's not changing her lyrics or her sound or the feel that she's this BAMF who'll shoot you in the fucking kneecaps if you screw around with her. I do like her older stuff where it seemed more innocent teenage love but I think Avril does very well with both feels.

    Thanks for writing this. :3
