Oh, I think it was an awful move. I mean, I don't understand why they couldn't have released the album and continued on with McBusted. And on top of the money, they've effectively just wasted Jason Perry's time in terms of having the album recorded and mixed and as someone who knows how long it takes to mix a song so it sounds halfway good, that really irritates me. I didn't want McBusted to become permanent when it started, I thought it'd be a sweet little reunion and yeah, it was amusing to see live because it was like reliving my childhood, but it was just that - a novelty. McFly are one of my favourite bands and if they fade into obscurity because of this, I'm going to be pretty heartbroken.

I think this was such a bad move. As much as I used to love Busted when I was younger because they were a novelty, McFly have worked so hard to get to where they are now. I feel like Busted are almost sponging off of them. Not just that, but it costs so much money to record an album and the fans have waited so long for its release. It's such a shame Sad I really don't know how they could do such a thing like that, and I hope it doesn't become permanent. I really hope so.

I was a fan of Busted beforehand, so I thought this would be a really cool venture where I'd get to see my first favourite band again, but I didn't realise it was going to impact on McFly and that's what's really worrying me now. I didn't expect this to be a permanent thing and I'm terrified it is going to end up permanent.

Me too! I mean, it's complete so I don't understand why they wouldn't (even from a business point of view) release it after they were finished on the McBusted tour. I'm excited to see how the collaboration album will sound, but I just don't like the fact that McFly seems to be going down the drain in favour of something that, quite frankly, is more of a novelty than anything.

I'm excited and horrified and sad and happy all at once. I like the mix of the two bands, but I wanted the sixth album. I just don't understand why they aren't doing both. I understand that promotion is important, and they'd probably have to do a tour, but they could postpone it a year and do the release in the future instead of scrapping it altogether. No
