I think they're okay. They just sound like another band sometimes to me :/ I liked Scream better than Humanoid by far. Humanoid was just too glam rock/pop for my taste.

Tokio Hotel is one of my Top 5 favorite bands. They're songs are really addicting!

One thing about the article: I'm pretty sure that Bill wasn't 15 when Tokio Hotel started. He and Tom were about 12 when the band started as Devilish.

Tokio Hotel is one of my favorite bands. I'll admit, they're not the best, but they're coming along nicely. Their songs are catchy and meaningful at the same time. I can't really explain it, but they just captivate me. Plus, they seem like really nice guys who enjoy doing what they do.

I used to like this band. then i met them personally georg and gustav were really nice but tom and bill seemed to be total jerks i actually had bill email and he began to get really jackassy when they went main stream i sound kinda like my mom but i guess im insulted and disappointed in them which is a shame cos thier musci is potentially good :/

lmao. I wouldnt call them an ultimate fail, but i dont see any talent. I've attempted to listen to one of their songs despite the fact the lead singer looks extremely foul, but theres nothing special about these kids.

I try to be mature when commenting on these things but you've gotta be fucking kidding me!

Tokio Hotel=Ultimate Fail
Bill Kaulitz=Shrieky transgender
Supposed "anime" look he's trying to pull=industry tactic telling him what to dress and say

End of story.

I found out about Tokio Hotel quite a while ago and never gave a damn. I was then sent a video of 'In Die Nacht' being played live, and I decided to actually have a proper look at the band...

I now would say I really like them, perhaps because of the slight novelty in my music tastes of them singing in a different language to my own, despite the fact that I do actually understand what they are saying, unlike many.

I find it slightly amusing to read the scathing comments regarding Bill Kaulitz looking like a girl. He happens to be a rather beautiful guy who has very androgynous features and dresses to 'fit' the 'scene' the band's music fits... if in people's opinion that makes him look like a girl, then they should just be quiet. It's not really his fault... he's a little young for surgery after all.

Also, people saying they are selling out? I can understand how people might think so, but I don't think they are. If you ever really liked them, then be glad for their success, they have achieved a lot at a young age and do not deserve scorn for being more widely recognised - that is not selling out, and it isn't something they control. Also, singing in english... well, it gains a wider audience, so why not?

Anyways, Tokio Hotel, good to see 'em getting somewhere, awesome article, hope to see more of them soon!

I genuinely despise this band.
Why does the lead guy insist on doing everything in his power to look like a woman?
It ain't cool unless its Glitter rock , and that's long dead.
I get the feeling the same sort of bratty little girls who like the Jonas Brothers like Tokio Hotel too.
Ewwwwww.

I don't like them and everything, but they've been around for like three years. And they came up more widely(in the US)in 2007.

Oh, I love Tokio Hotel. I met them recently, they're really nice.
And since when has being successful been a synonym for selling out?
