WTF!?! Are you fucking kidding me...first My Chemical Romance and now Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy? God who thinks of this bullshit? This is getting ridiculous, I feel bad for the girl's family but come on don't fucking blame the music which DOESN'T even encourage death/suicide. ARGG!! This is so frustrating. I wish I could be there at the protest =( but they have my full support.May 19th, 2008 at 09:08pm

"...Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy, claiming that their lyrics encourage and glamorize death..."
WTF?!?!?!?! That is the biggest load of bullshit I have ever heard since this whole story began. Fucking Daily Mail journos, get your fucking facts right before you start accusing.
You ought to read all of these comments and the sheer velocity of the utter indignance of these people here and across the web before you start pointing the finger. You Daily Mail journos disgust me.
This isn't because Panic at the Disco have been brought into this (honestly, have you even /heard/ Pretty. Odd.?), it's the fact your warped opinions have putrified the name of these bands which we all revere and admire.
Daily Mail, stick your opinions, stereotypes and predjudice where it hurts because guess what, sugar? Nobody cares about what you think.
My Chemical Romance, we are all behind you.May 19th, 2008 at 08:02pm -
Consider me there.May 19th, 2008 at 06:19pm

YEAH! I'm allowed to go!!! Man, I want to meet with mibbians so badly, and support MCR and then it would be an all round awesome day!!
-thinks-
I SHALL WEAR A MIBBA SHIRT! XDMay 19th, 2008 at 05:44pm -

I would want to support that, but i don't live in london. I hope that goes well, b/c i've been reading about that. I really don't feel bad for the girl if they are blaming music. I don't see why the family can't just take the blame. it's seems like they always need someone else to blame. like spongebob or marilyn manson.May 19th, 2008 at 05:32pm

I agree with Jojo, and would like to point out what I have been saying in several journals about this...
I realise that everyone participating wants a peaceful protest, but unfortunately, I think it is going to result in some violence-it's the sort of thing that provokes anger in people, or just the desire to mess it up. I'm not saying by any of the participators, but people watching &c.
But I applaud everyone for making a stand and all that....
[Jesus that makes me sound posh]May 19th, 2008 at 05:14pm -
I'm going to it.
I'm very excited to be part of such a brilliant protest.
All we want is for our message to get across the people, just as they have done by publishing that ludicrous article. I agree we are only bringing more attention what the media have been saying, but least we all know in our hearts that we have stayed strong for our boys and proved to them that we are behind them every step of the way.May 19th, 2008 at 03:48pm -
It's good to see people go out there and take a stand, fighting for what they believe in.
I just hope the Daily Mail don't feed off this extra attention to their press.May 19th, 2008 at 01:25pm -
DAMMIT.
Iwish i could teleport... :/May 19th, 2008 at 12:07pm -
When has there even been any My Chem lyrics that specifically point out "You should kill yourself"?
When has Gerard, Frank, Ray, Bob or Mikey ever told the fans that if they want a way out, or if they are listening to My Chem, that they should kill themselves?
Since when has My Chem, P!ATD or FOB ever directly promoted suicidal thoughts or acts?
WTF.
I don't get some people sometimes. I wish I could be at the protest myself. )=May 19th, 2008 at 08:57am -
Do you suppose we could have a couple in the US as well?May 19th, 2008 at 08:36am

I wish I could be there too!
If that young girl really did kill herself because of some lyrics she took to literally, well, then, she already had something else going on in her head way before reading those lyrics.May 19th, 2008 at 08:33am -
I wish I could be there!
Damn that paper for saying that! How could they?
My Chem has done nothing but SAVE lives!
And it's obviously not their fault if the kid is suicidal! They are AGAINST suicide.
When will they see that?
The Daily Mail seems horrible! They have no idea what they are talking about at all! They should be getting sued from MCR.
I would. haha.May 19th, 2008 at 07:36am -
OhmiGawd! I wish I could be there, I love My Chemical Romance, and think that they should be left alone.. They had nothing to do with such things as suicide. I just wish they would be left alone...May 19th, 2008 at 07:30am

i hope something is accomplished that day!! how i wish i could be there for that!May 19th, 2008 at 05:51am

See it as I really can't get to london
=\
This is beyond ridiculous now and it needs to stop.
I'll make sure people know about the protest that
day. Even though I won't be there.
And a friend of mine is actually writing to the daily
mail along with as many MCR supporters she can get.
To say how they help us, not make us kill ourselves.
<3
Good luck to the protestors.
I hope it stays peaceful & safe, so
no arrests are made.
