National Eating Disorder Awareness - Comments

It is just an ironic thing for me. I was never diagnosed but believe me I had an eating disorder from about age seven. Is that normal? No. Is it unheard of? No. I only survived because my case wasn't bad until I turned eleven. Then I got bad. When I turned twelve I spiraled out of control. But I knew I had it so I gradually got better of the course of almost two years now. But it is ironic because this month is my birthday. Seems to fit pretty well. I'm glad that is it though.

This is a very helpful article. I was unaware they had eating disorder awareness month. . My cousin was diagnosed with anorexia when she was 12 years old, so this definitely hits close to home. Thank you for posting. :)
