This is a really well written article. You just missed out one part, it's life-long. You can never banish it, only treat it. You can get close to getting rid of it, but it'll never be fully gone :/ That's the part that's apparently the worst. People with it are quite often unemployed, since it can cause people to act out at work and not be able to hold down the job. Employers aren't fond of it, either :/

I, among others, would like to thank you.

I'm also Bipolar, but I suffer more regularly from mania that depression.

It's nice to see all sides of it.

This is a great article! I'm bipolar and a lot of people don't understand anything about it and sometimes think I'm crazy if I tell them I'm bipolar.
But keep in mind that personality traits have a lot to do with how the disorder comes out, and it varies widely between children, adolescents, and adults. The patterns and symptoms change iwth age and vary in amount from person to person. But as for getting an overall view of it, this article does a great job! :)

I think i love you. The number of people who use it wrongly... or don't know what it is. It really is genetic. and lifestyle can affect how well you deal with it - a settled lifestyle, but with a lot of stimulation seems to work wonders for a lot of people. And you should be wary of the drugs. Someone i know was prescribed 5 different ones for it.
the first one for it, the 2nd for that's side affects, 3rd for the 2nds and so on. then it turned out that the last one negated the affect of the original one! She'd have been better off just staying as she was.
