Heck, for all I think you should call it joining a cult!
Whatever works the best for you that leads you in the direction of having a healthier, better, or whatever kind of life that you want to have is what you should call it.
I'm just saying I'm "changing my habits" or "trying something different" and I like it so I'll stick to it more.
And go you for being a "Lifestyle Changer"!

I always thought people sucked at sticking to diets because they're doing it for the wrong reasons. Its a hell of a lot easier to stick to a diet if you're doing it to be healthy and to feel better overall. If you're doing it for other people or because other people make you feel terrible about you're appearance it just makes the process tougher.

Well really, a diet is a lifestyle change. Eating healthier results in losing weight, but losing weight effects your body in all kinds of ways. You'll have more energy, be more active. A lot of people look at the short term effects of dieting without realizing how much it will affect their overall life. Good article =]

I agree 100% with this article. I'm pretty inactive but have gone to the gym quite a few times in the past fourteen months or so and now I feel so happy when I run. :) Eventually the dopamine and serotonin in your brain get released after running to your potential.

I guess it's the way you look at dieting to really know the answer to your question. I know exactly what you're going through though. This summer I am staying with my cousin because she knows a lot about eating healthy and being active so I can lose some weight. I like to call it a lifestyle change because that's exactly what it is! (No tricking involved). Doing so, i've lost 3 pounds in the last 5 days!! It just depends on what your methods are and how you look at dieting in general.
