Hurricane Fay Rips Up Florida - Comments

Lol, yeah I know it tottaly sucked the fun out of everything!:(
Made this weekend Mud the lake is all yucky!

Only me to book a flight around the same time Fay comes to Florida. Perfect timing right?... eh, at least I got one day of sunshine

It blew a fence over, and then blew a tree over!
It wasn`t as bad as they said it was but they canceled school for a week!:D

It's media ovet-hype.

I'm live near Orlando, and yesterday was the worst day of the storm for us, my street was flooded, rain was coming down like crazy, and the wind was strongest it had been all week, and that's the day the decided to send us to school.
We had Tues. and Wed. off and today, which is Friday, and they were all calm days, only a little wind.

I'm really mad. haha.

Yeah, well the news is making a big deal and a lot of my friends are out of power, and it`s not heading to Geogia it`s going into the water and coming back again.

It is in the news. practically 24/7

But It's rainded NON-stop in Orlando. We shouldn't have had school the past few days because of the rain but we don't have it bad.


You might want to update the story because Fay has stopped near Georgia and is said to come back down.
Or thats what every teacher at my school says.

Dude. I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for the first 18 years of my life; and lemmie tell ya, This storm isn't the 'Big Bad Fay' the news was making it out to be. One of the last hurricanes I went through left us without power for two weeks. That was bad. Andrew was bad. This? Pfftt. I'd go to the beach in that weather. = ) Ok, That's all I really needed to say.

I've seen worse, I guess, but if my power goes out I'm going to throw a fit.

That really sucks. I have a few friends down there that are going through that.

Yeah it just started raining here, we haven`t had school in three days!

There's no school today in Alachua county, which is funny because it's bright and shiny, but by tonight we're probably going to get the worst of everything.
But hey, no school. (:
