Fur Farms? - Comments

Well, although this is an extreme example, in my opinion until all of us are willing to forgo animal products entirely and become vegans there's no point in throwing stones. We do use and abuse animals, and leather and fur in many cases are by-products of the meat and dairy industries. If it is so awful, give it up and don't use anything from an animal.

That's just awful.

It's kinda like.. if we weren't at the top of the food chain, and something bred us. And well, skinning us for our... outer layers? Think about that for a second.
It's a little disturbing.

I would be fine with this if they didnt feel the pain. But since they do i dont support it

I love animals and I don't see why wearing their fur is so fashionable? It's their skin. they live in it. It's like cutting the flesh off a human with a razor, stitching it together and slapping it onto the cover of a fashion magazine. It's not fashionable, nor moral to treat living things with such low standards.

Fur Farms disgust me. And I don't agree with wearing animals. Being leather or fur, I say no.

i rather 2 cut my hair more then fur cuz wearing clothes made with real fur is murder FUR IS DEAD!

I don't think we should wear animals, even if they [i]were[/i] killed in a humane way. I think that any killing of an animal for fur is wrong. Sorry, [b]radical[/b] and [b]PurplePenguin2009[/b], but leather and all that? Ewh.

fur is worn by beautiful animals and ugly people.

i agree with radical.
i know a lot of people who are hunters. my moms family were hunters. they used every single part of the deer whether it be for food, clothing, furniture, etc.
they used the legs to make lamps. they used the antlers for coat racks. i have a deer hoof that was used for a pen holder.
fur is really gross. i think it's unatractive. the other day i saw a purse made out of horse hair.
i don't like fur but i like leather. leather is durable and it lasts for a long time.

Humasn wearing fur is very unattractive.

Fur farming is wrong! It is just horrible what people do to innocent animals these days.

I don't really have anything to say other than it's horrible that they do this sort of thing. I mean, the animals are [i]alive[/i]. That's just excessively cruel.

Some people judge a person wearing fur at one glance.
But there are people who hunt, shoot a deer, eat it, then have nothing to do with the fur.
They make a carpet, or a blanket, thinking their using all the animal, and bam, people are all on his back.

Yes, fur farming is ew, gross, inhumane, and all that stuff, but don't judge all people wearing fur.

I had to an artical on this for a project. It's horrible what they do, in Korea they skin or cook animals alive because it 'flavours' the meat.

I don't know why anybody would want to wear a dead carcuss. What kind of heartless jerk would want to wear something you can easily get a fake alternative to?
It's horrible seeing what happens to these innocent animals in these horrid fur farms.
